Works great
I switched all of my reptile fixtures to these because I love how short they are. No need to worry about the space between the dome and the rack the enclosure sits on in regards to not fitting. This 8.5 size is also perfect for my enclosure size. I will definitely continue to purchase these for my future enclosures!

Very nice heat fixture for my tortoise
This works really well and looks nice also. I can not rate the temperature control because there is no thermostat or dial, it is controlled by how far away you hang the lamp. I had been using a 100 watt fixture and heat emitter but it seemed inadequate so I got this one for a 150 watt emitter. It's exactly what I needed. I can keep part of Pebbles' habitat at 90 and it stays warm even at night. And of course, he has the option to move off into a 70 degree area if he wants to. Very pleased with this purchase!

Just what I needed
Bought this lamp to pair with a dhp bulb for my white lipped python's enclosure. Works great to keep her cozy. Just don't forget to use a controller with any heat source.

Does not come with bulb.
Just know that it does not come with the bulb, but it works great. Needed a lamp that could hang above my tortoise's enclosure and this one works great.
