I bought this product as a replacement for my forest essentials aloe Vera and sandalwood moisturizer ( which seems to have been discontinued). The fragrance is good. Mild and refreshing. There are two things that I am not happy with in this product.1) Feels a bit oily when you apply it.2) But the moisturizer only last 2-3 hours.I live Northern California where winters are dry and I have combination skin. This product barely keeps my skin hydrated for a few hours. The forest essential product i referred to above last atleast 8 hours.

However my skin unfortunately didn't agree.Despite giving it three separate tries, my skin reacted negatively each time. Within 10 minutes of application, I experienced itching, followed by small red bumps developing over the next few hours.The packaging is beautiful and the fragrance is lovely, but those with sensitive skin should proceed with caution. I am surprised that even natural, Ayurvedic-inspired products can cause reactions, and what works for some may not work for others. :(
