I got an XL for my son who is 5'0 125lbs and it was too small on him. Fit more like a standard L. Otherwise, the quality is nice, and the color is as pictured.Overall I would recommend this item but I would recommend sizing up if you can!

It's soft and smooth, and silky. The stretch is medium level: on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is a lightweight fast-fashion girls' t-shirt and 10 is a pair of high-impact elastic compression socks, this is about a 4. It will serve very well as a sport/workout jersey or as a layering vest for underneath a shirt (such as the style with at least the collar and first button undone.) It would probably be of little use as a binder though- too gentle a fabric.It's a good vest-shirt overall. I would recommend it, for a kid or small teenager, or possibly a Little adult. Not sure why so much kids stuff comes in just black and gray, but the bright red is a breath of fresh air. This fit my 6yo well; stayed in place for gymnastics but wasn't so tight it was uncomfortable. Machine washed and dried with no static or excessive wrinkling. He gravitates to this one, probably cause of the fun color.

As a compression shirt, I expected this to run a little small, but it wasn't even as tight as I thought. I got the XL for my son, his normal size, and it is fitted, but not too tight or compressing. It works well as an undershirt.
