Major win for my 5 and 3 year olds!
I homeschool my two girls, my oldest is 5 and my younger is 3. They both really enjoy this set of building toys. The plastic seems like high quality and comparable to other sets similar to this (I had one as a kid! I remember making pinwheels and cars with them in the early 90s!) I'm not concerned that they will crack or wear any time soon. It comes in a nice plastic reusable box, with a snap lid that the kids can open and close them selves. It is so nice to have that carrier, so they can put it away when they are done.My girls are both high energy and prefer running around to sitting and playing. However, I am sitting here with my baby watching the girls in disbelief....they have been at the kitchen table playing with this set for a solid hour!!I am already planning on buying this for friends. Its a great "bang for your buck" (I'm a bit of a cheap skate but homeschooling items tend to be expensive) and I am sure this will last for years to come. For those with multiple children, isn't it nice when the younger ones can inherit toys?5/5 stars, I don't see any cons. It was a major win for us!I have also been really impressed with the customer service of this company. I bought a wooden walker for my 1 year old and it squeaked a bit. I contacted them and they confirmed it was a manufacture error and immediately sent me a brand new one (that was perfect). So anyway, I didn't have any issues with this set but if you did, they are so incredibly easy to work with and helpful. Im ordering more of their building sets!

Great fun blocks. Alternative in design kids take to them fast; comes with design ideas
I put the book on the table, ask the 2year old and 4 year old what they want to make. Once they make the choice, I get the pieces out of the box (I dont let them have access to the box unless it is clean up time) and do the construction with them. They have fun hence the high rating.Only cons would be there aren't enough pieces of the right color(!) to follow some designs to the T. A very minor problem as we could always use other colors, but that does not always fly with a child. And, lastly some pieces do not attach tightly, Given the price of this set I cannot complain.NB: I played with something extremely similar as a child; it was from Germany (I believe it was called Lassy) and high quality (very) but also pricey.

Great product for fun, creativity, and imagination!
We can't say enough great things about this product...It is fabulous...Our grandchildren are 4yrs., 6yrs., and 8yrs., and they love it! It is always the first toy that they choose to play with when they visit...The building blocks are great quality and design...come with a carry container, and a booklet with picture and building examples...also, the "thank you" card is a nice touch...the best part of all, is that the grandchildren can build things together, or just by themselves...great for all ages...

A fun new building option!
I wasn't sure what these were when I ordered them but my son loves to build with other building blocks and connectors, so I thought why not try these. They are pretty fun. I think they are a little easier than you typical building toys because they don't have to snap together like some and they're bigger than a regular set of blocks. They'll probably be easier for smaller hands to maneuver.Essentially, they are little ladder shaped pieces that are held in place by other ladder shaped pieces crisscrossing with them. There are other shapes as well (a round one that looks like a tire and is also used as the face of a rotary phone in one example, rods that connect through the middles of others in some places.)I am building a repertoire of toys for my classroom when I graduate in fall of 2021 and I think these will make a great classroom toy!Oh, and they even come in their own plastic bin with lid so storage is easy!

Great for builders!
Purchased this so my 4 yo grandson's visit - something different than the legos he has at home & I know that building is his jam. He loved it! As did his engineer dad :) He built both designs from the book & from his own imagination. Other reviews have indicated there weren't enough parts but we did not find that to be the case (we did not build everything but some of the smaller pieces can be combined to make larger ones). It was an excellent purchase - so good, in fact, that even though the plan was to keep it at my house my son requested they take it with them as they had other family to visit & would need a building toy. A great purchase if you want something different for building - I may have to buy another set. Good value, convenient carrying case too!

Great mind- stimulating building blocks!
We gave this 208 piece cossy Stem Learning Toy Engineering Construction Building Blocks set as a Christmas gift to a 7 year old boy who was placed with our daughter and her family for respite foster care during the week between Christmas and New Year. He was delighted with this gift and despite his usual short attention span for doing one activity, spent over an hour at at time building some of the pictured projects as well as creating ones of his own. This was the perfect gift for him. This is a great set and allows for a lot of creativity and imaginative building. You will not go wrong with purchasing it for a child in the listed age group.

Durable and fun
This is a great manipulation toy; first It comes in a study plastic box with a handle so the kids can easily carry them. The popular traditional brick toys are just a little small for my 4 year old to handle so I thought I would try these and they were a hit. They include some patterns but my kids have more fun creating their own things and have me guess what they are. The actual pieces snap together easily and come apart with a little force. They will hopefully last a long time and I can pass them on.
