DO NOT BUY- PRODUCT FAULTY
I have had this item since Oct 1st, so 1 month and 1 week total and the item is WARPING! It gets extremely hot at times I have noticed and at this stage I have become afraid to use it. It is not left plugged in unless I am charging my laptop. I strongly urge people NOT TO BUY!

Item failed after 5 days
Seems flimsy - inferior quality. Returning. Do not waste time/money.

Died after 3rd day of use
Bought this item 6 weeks ago. Didn't use it till my original Macbook charger actually stopped working. This is the 3rd day of using the product and it stopped charging. It always sparked when plugged to the wall and sometimes spark at the connector to the laptop, too. Can't return the item as it's over the return window. Save your money and get the real Apple charger. Sure, it frays after a while but this cable is at least half the length of original Apple, the plug in (wall and laptop) are too loose, and it wont last you long.

Sparks from day one and stopped working after less than a month
This product is really awful, do not recommend. It has been making small visible and audible sparks every time I plug it in since day one.I still used it as I didn't have other option, but I never left it plugged in to avoid fire.It stopped charging well after about a week - sometimes it charged, sometimes it didn't and it had to be constantly adjusted, and after less than a month it stopped working altogether.

Did not last in spite of proper care
It lasted less than two months. Now when I plug it in it goes green for charge for all of one second and then shuts off. I have tried several outlets to no avail. Have not abused it anyway and by the looks of it -- it still looks new with not a scratch, a tear in the cord or the like. Do I really have to pay $80 on the real thing? It sure looks that way

Not worth the stress
Purchased this item in December and today (May 1st) it stopped working. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I am reluctant to writing early reviews on products for this very reason. This charger remained at one location plugged in most of the time. Always plugged into a quality surge protector- none of my other electronics have malfunctioned. I gave up and purchased the charging adapter for $85 to save myself the trouble.

Terrible! Sparks Outlet & Doesn't charge. Don't waste your money.
Terrible charger! Dangerous and doesn't work. Every time I plugged it into an outlet it would literally spark. I tried it at the outlets at my job, at school and same thing. Despite the sparks, it still charged so I decided to keep it. After a couple months of using it, it has completely stopped working. It does not charge at all! Now I have to buy another charger! Don't waste your money, spend extra and invest in a better charger! Will not purchase from this seller again.

Don't waste your money
This charged fried and stopped working 2 months after getting it. It is now too late to return and I am stuck having to order another one. Don't waste your money on this cheap thing.
