This new book from Melanie Berg is a must for all her fans. I have used a number of her shawl patterns and I have always been pleased with the results. This book contains mostly patterns that I am unfamiliar with and can't wait to try. It is a beautifully produced book and the patterns are clear. A definite must for a shawl knitter's library.

If you want to knit a shawl and you’re looking for inspiration then look no further than this book. The patterns are excellent and the addition of photographs showing how other knitters have interpreted the patterns provides some great examples of how the shawls look in different colour ways.

Fabulous book of shawls, unusual patterns and unique. Easy to adapt, this is my version of the Midnight in Berlin shawl. Love Melanie Bergs patterns, simple to use and well explained. Excellent.😊

Ich habe dies Buch schon recht früh vorbestellt, da ich Mairlynd und ihre Kreationen kenne und einige Anleitungen einzeln gekauft habe.Das Buch ist jeden Cent wert. Tolle Designs mit Muster oder Uni. Ich kann mich aktuell gar nicht entscheiden womit ich anfangen soll.Da ich ihre Art der Anleitungen kenne und gut verstehe also auch sehr gut verständlich.Als Tipp möchte ich unerfahreneren Strickerinnen empfehlen sich in ihrer Gruppe bei Facebook oder ravelry anzumelden. Dort hilft die Designerin ggf persönlich weiter und man kann die Entwürfe von anderen Strickerinnen dort als Anregung in unterschiedlichen Garnen anschauen. Mich inspiriert man damit oftmals.Ich schreibe so begeistert, weil ich selten ein Buch mit Strickanleitugen so günstig gekauft habe. Oftmals gefällt Einem die Hälfte, hier gefällt mir ALLES !!!!!!
