This medicine is a MIRACLE for my lab!
We started having skin issues with my lab two years ago, when she was only 8 months old. She would scratch so much she was bleeding, and we've had to bring her into the vet countless times for antibiotic and topicals. We've tried medicated baths (which help, but not entirely!), prednisone (which made her gain over 20 lbs in a very short amount of time!), topical creams and sprays, wipes that were medicated, and even allergy shots once we got to the point of figuring out she was allergic to dust, dust mites, mold, certain types of trees etc. NONE OF THAT WORKED! Not even the allergy shots. We've spent THOUSANDS in medical bills for her. Willingly, because we wanted to figure out something that worked so that she could finally have some relief. It just never came. So, I wish I had thought of this sooner, but I decided to start looking into something we could try on our own... without expensive vet visits, because clearly that was not working! Today marks one week of everything I implemented and she is doing so great I can't even believe it! Her skin finally isn't red, and raw anymore- and hardly anymore itching!! So here's what I've been doing. I purchased organic coconut oil capsules and started giving her one a day which helps with the skin coat. I started giving her these vets best supplements everyday (she gets two capsules twice per day, per the weight chart on the back of the bottle). and I also started using Sulfodene First Aid Skin Medication for Dogs and Sulfodene Brand 3-Way Ointment for Dogs. Okay, so the Sulfodene products applied twice per day cleared up her "owwies" within 4 days and that's saying something because not even the Rx medications did!! And they are inexpensive, so give them a shot!! And these vets best supplements are helping with the itching and preventing NEW spots from occurring. She isn't even itching at all! And she used to keep us up at night with the constant licking at her paws and scratching! Her hair is even starting to grow back! Amazing, amazing product. So glad I decided to give it a shot! I had figured at this point, what's another bottle of medicine wasted (if it didn't work!), but based on the reviews I gave it a shot. SO GLAD I DID!!! I will put up pictures of the back of the bottle that lists ingredients in each capsule. GOOGLE THEM! I did... and these ingredients really do work! Okay, now I'm rambling, but just had to write a review... my lab is finally herself again after two years!! :D Also, I should mention that I have no problem giving these to my lab. She eats them right up. And that surprised me, I used to have to give her antibiotics in peanut butter or she wouldn't take them! :)

No more itchy skin problems!
Bought this for my Golden Retriever who suffers from bad summer seasonal allergies. He breaks out in hot spots and the vet would give him a cortisone shot and medicated shampoo. It didn't do much and would usually worsen to the point he got infections and had to be on antibiotics for a month. Saw the Vet's Best Hot Spot Relief spray in Petco and bought it hoping it would help my poor guy. I chose Vet's Best because it was the only all natural product on the shelf. My boy had relief instantly! I went on their website and saw these pills and decided to buy them as well. It does take about 2 weeks or more to notice any change. His hot spots turned a crusty brown/green color and started drying up when I paired the hot spot spray with these seasonal allergy pills. He loves eating these every morning. They're his pre-breakfast treat and he gobbles them up no problem. I also bathe him in a oatmeal and baking soda shampoo from PetSmart. It's their brand shampoo, very cheap and works great. I bought the Vet's Best hot spot relief shampoo and it didn't do anything besides make him smell really good. The oatmeal and baking soda shampoo calms his skin and leaves him smelling great. I recommend bathing your fur baby every 10 days in oatmeal along with these pills and the hot spot spray. It's safe to bathe your dog frequently with the oatmeal shampoo and it helps wash away any pollen, rag weed, allergens trapped in their fur causing them discomfort/itchy skin. Will these products make the problem go away entirely? Of course not, it's meant to TREAT the symptoms and make it more tolerable for your pet. It's their version of Clariten or Zyrtek. Allergies can't be cured, but they can be treated and this product definitely does an AMAZING job at doing that. Than you Vet's Best!!!!!

Dog loves the taste, and his itching is subsiding...
I'm hesitantly hopeful these tablets are a good fit for my dog. I've got a 80lb pit-rottie mix that has been suffering from quite a stubborn allergic reaction for about a year now. We've tried sprays, which are a temporary fix (and my dog is scared of spray bottles...even though we never used them as "punishment"...he's scared of a lot of things...). The vet is stumped and just keeps prescribing expensive pills which only temporarily fix the problem. We're working on diet and environmental factors too, and unfortunately, I think he might be allergic to foliage. We live in a jungle so there's not much we can do about that (we're not going to lock him inside for the rest of his life). Anyway, we decided to give these herbal pills a go.So far so good! My dog LOVES the taste of these pills. I keep them by his treat jar so he associates them with being a good thing to eat. He starts drooling as soon as I open the bottle (so if your dog is a bottle-snatcher, you might want to hide or put in high place to prevent accidental overdose). We give him a pill in the morning, and one at night per the weight instructions. I was a little concerned when he threw up a couple times on the third day of taking the tablets, but it might have been from handouts at a BBQ we went to as well (he's got a sensitive stomach). We kept up the tablet routine, and haven't had a problem since. He doesn't seem to be as itchy anymore, the red patches are calming down (except on his paws...still need to work on that), and he looks forward to his allergy "treat" time.I'm going to continue to use these in conjunction with the shampoos and sprays just to cover our bases. I'll update after a month or so of use. Maybe we'll try lowering the does after a while if he shows continued improvement.
