Remote control fails and no replacements available
Remote control keeps breaking and no replacement available. So for lack of a $10 remote control, can’t use the $1K robot...

balls keep getting stuck
The ball tray design was a bad one where balls lock each other so they can not go down into the hole.

Very Good Product
I bought this product and had no problems setting this up and using it for practice. It easy to use for me and my kids. The wireless remote is a big plus, because you can hold the remote in one hand and change the frequency of the balls or position. The balls seem to work fine without getting stuck for our model. In a few days my kids have gotten much better, simply by practice. Overall, very happy and would recommend this product. It's easy to setup and use. The only downside is that it does not do side spin or combination spin. It only supports top and underspin.

designed for beginning players only
The lack of sidespin is a huge flaw. A such, this is geared towards entry-level players. It would be very useful for learning the basic strokes. Most people who would spend well over $500 for a robot likely would want to spend a few hundred dollars more for a robot that can give a wide variety of spins, more placement areas on the table, etc..But, as long as you are aware of the large limitations of this robot and are happy with what it has to offer, you'll probably end up happy with it.
