Great size, 15.6" perfect fit (max), Very spacious, Good fit
I've been using the Hazard 4 Defense Courier Laptop Messenger Bag for two months now. I have a 15.6 laptop and it's a perfect fit. The padding is good in the dedicated computer sleeve. The strap is wide and extends out a lot; good position options. Pad over strap is comfy (and securing straps line up flash light on shoulder nicely - nice touch). I love all the pocket and molle options...molle in all the right places. Pockets ideal for concealed/carry of small arms. Very sturdy straps, clasps, buckles, stitching and materials - definitely well made. Lifetime warranty on materials and stitching. Very well thought out.Bottom Line: Worth Every Penny.Cons - inside main compartment there are two pockets on the sides, presumably for bottles and such. They are just a bit too tight to fit normal bottles. It barely fits a standard 20oz bicycle bottle or Camelback bottle...I just have to fuss with it too much so not worth using. Really only ideal for disposable plastic 500ml bottles and they are too noisy to be tactical so I can't imagine Hazard4 actually used those for fitting. Wished it was a bit bigger.

Great bag, just a few minor improvements
Intro:I travel frequently as an Officer in the US Army, and am kind of tough on my bags. I use the 5.11 Rush 72 Assault Pack for when I've got a bunch of stuff to move, but it's a bit unwieldy - fitting it under an airline seat is painful, and when I only have a laptop or tablet and some files\electronics chargers to carry around it's overkill. The Hazard 4 Defense Courier fills the gap nicely. Mine is the Coyote Tan (my obsession).Pros:* Construction - holy crap, this thing is built for the apocalypse. The 1000D Cordura Nylon is seriously tough. The straps are very thick. The stitching is immaculate - I haven't found a single loose thread.* Color - matches the typical Coyote Tan pretty well. It's lighter than 5.11s Coyote Tan, a bit less green than Condor's, and identical to Camelbak's. It's darker than it appears in the product photos (see my Customer Images for comparison).* Pass-through zipper - let's you access the main interior compartment without opening the flap. While it sounds like a little thing, it's great for getting small items without having to unbuckle the whole thing. Perfect on planes.* Laptop compartment - well padded. I wish it were just a BIT bigger - my Lenovo Y500 15.6" is a VERY tight fit, kind of a pain to remove.Cons:* Buckles - while I haven't had the issue some have, it would be nice of the lock on the shoulder strap buckle were a little more stubborn. I can see it coming open if I'm not careful.* Organization - there isn't much. You've pretty much got an open outer compartment, and the inner compartment has the laptop compartment, and two pockets on the inside.Summary:Overall, I'm very pleased with it. I'm going to add an ITS Tactical Skeletonized Water Bottle Holder to one side and it'll be my EDC bag.

Very nice bag
This bag is doing all that I hoped. I needed something roomy enough to pack four regular clipboards, occasionally an Ipad or laptop, various sundries (pens, paper, sunglasses etc.) and include plenty of loops and tabs to attach other gear. The Hazard 4 has all this and is doing an admirable job for me so far. It is well appointed with pockets and the zipper entry into the main compartment is a particularly good feature. I also really like the plastic document window on the inside of the flap. I have added several small carabiners on the webbing so I can clip items I need to have handy - the Hazard 4 has plenty of available loops! This bag is a huge improvement over the backpack I was using. I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend it for those who are looking for convenience and ample space in a bag.The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is the clasps. So far they are holding fine, but when the back is loaded heavily, the clasps squeak in a somewhat suspect manner - as if they might give way. This bothers me because, as a college track coach, I need to pack a lot of gear around very often - both at practice and at meets. Also, the little locking mechanisms on the clasps do not always operate correctly. I haven't had the bag very long, so I worry a little about the integrity of this particular feature. Hopefully it won't become an issue.

Ultimate Dream Bag
This bag exceeded my expectations in every way and I was 'stoked' to get it. It is well built and versatile. Despite the image that gives the Coyote version a euro-chic blue accent on some monitors -- it is actually a tastefully rugged dark blue-grey. MOLLE is implemented well, straps are thick and durable. The locking fold-over clips are a really neat feature but I suspect I would use them infrequently. One caution... Note the specs carefully when determining whether the bag can accommodate your laptop. I have a large wide-screen LT (17" diag spec'd, 16.5" width): I was crushed to find that it didn't fit (and I had to return the bag). Although the main pouch was roomy, the padded LT compartment was fixed-width and sewn, having very little give (which could be an advantage). I loved the bag so much I was tempted to take it to a seamster to widen the LT section but decided that was impractical. It would have been smart for the designers to use a hook-and-loop adjustable/removable padded bracket in conjuction with a larger padded compartment so that it better fits a variety of hardware. Also, don't bother trying to contact the manufacturer... My phone call and email (inquiring about a wider version) were ignored. But when you have a product that good, who needs customer service? And then there is Amazon: Normally stellar in their CS, their reply to my RMA request was a little snooty as they asserted that since the mistake was not theirs, they would be refunding the purchase price -- less shipping (despite my note about the size problem). I'd say that was an expensive 10 minutes of unboxed product.Would I do it again? Had I a smaller laptop... in a flat second!

Shoulder Buckle 0/5 the rest 5/5
Good size for jamming lots of stuff into. Like people have mentioned, the buckle is in fact terrible. I got this when the price was 106$ so I took the risk on the it. I'm sure it the buckle will fail and I'll replace it with a large carabiner at that time. Otherwise, the inside pockets have plenty of storage and the layout isn't super convoluted so you can find the contents easily. The map pocket is pretty ugly and feels cheap but I have used it for documents so I suppose it's somewhat useful. The top zip that allows you to get in the bag without undoing the flap is handy and the luggage handle loop on the back of the bag is great. I'd give it 5 stars if the buckle wasn't such a POS.

Very annoying
Its definitely a well made bag but the shoulder strap is too short for a tall person. Im 193 cm or 6'4" and with the strap fully extended the bag sits on my upper hip. Very annoying
