Its heavy but not bad. The quality is better then past ones i have purchased but we will see how long this keyboad holds up to my use. Will update in a couple/few weeks because it wont take long with my use.Set up of how the tablet is loaded into the top section has the charging cord on the opposite end as the charging cord of keyboard which is incovient and the keyboard charge doesnt last very long.12/25/18 should have typed this a couple/few days ago. So when the keyboad goes to sleep it doesn’t like waking back up. I will reconnect and disconnect several times before it will sometimes, only sometimes, connect back to allow typing. I have to switch it off and back on again for it to work. At first I thought this may be a way of showing it needed to be charged but thats not the case. It just doesn’t like waking back up. So far the keys seem to be holding up but haven’t had it for long. I type a lot and use my ipad for almost everything. Also a week after purchase this item shows up on lightening deal for $13 almost $14 cheaper which I am a bit upset about to add to the issue with bluetooth connection.Update: 12/27/18Someone from customer service reached out to me and offered $20 refund/rebate and also offered to ship me out a replacement keyboard case! I am extremely happy with the representative reaching out to me and making this right. We will have to see how well the new one holds up. In high hopes I just got a defective device but they are making it right and that is what matters.

Case is Sturdy, Versatile, & Customer Service is Amazing!
Customer Service:I purchased this case (or my 1st case) earlier this year in January. I just received a replacement free of charge from VANKY, no questions asked (in four days!). Why a replacement? I don't know how but it seems the bottom right part of the case, the part that holds the screen, broke. I don't know if I twisted it the wrong way or if it'd been weakened by me dropping it but at any rate, it was badly cracked. It did not affect the keyboard however, that worked beautifully. Then I dropped it again! Which really made it worse. Butter fingers! I emailed the company through Amazon and was contacted within the hour which took me by surprise. I was asked if I wanted a black case to receive it right away but I said no, I'd really like the gold rose I originally purchased. Got it in four days. The image I provided is the newest case. Works beautifully. The box had been used and the packaging made me a little leery that I'd gotten a used keyboard BUT when I opened the case it was spotless.Functionality:How does it operate? Via bluetooth. It's easy to pair with your wifi or hotspot; although the keyboard will lag momentarily when pairing. It seems to want to pair whenever you lift the lid (open the case) but it's only a moment (10 secs if that long). This keyboard keeps its charge! I've had it for close to a year and have only had to charge it a few times and not for long. Admittedly, until recently I mainly used it for protection and folding down to fit my desk easel. (I drew a lot before school started.)However, I've recently started using the keyboard to type (sometimes I forget to bring my Apple pencil with me - smh). The keys have a backlighting that change color (see the specs for those colors); which is useful in dimly lit areas. I have an iPad 10.5 (previous version) and the case integrates with it perfectly. I'm able to easily change between the onscreen keyboard and the case keyboard by the flip of a switch.I mainly use the keyboard for typed notes during lectures. I use my stylus for homework and with this case when I need to take a screen capture it's easy and not distracting for others. I love having a mini-processor in class that's lightweight and fits easily in my shoulder bag! Others have laptops but I get full functionality out of my iPad with this keyboard case.I also use it when I'm drawing in Procreate/Affinity Photo/Designer; with these apps it's handy to have a separate keyboard for inserting fonts. I also have the Max Smart keyboard stand that works as an easel for tablets and drawing pads. This keyboard case is PERFECT for that because it folds completely in half.With customer service being stellar, versatility being expanded for iPads - why not purchase this?Note: I was asked by VANKY to provide a 5 star rating, I had no problem in doing so. I DO NOT give away stars. If I don't like an item I will say so. I can honestly say this is the best investment I've made. As long as VANKY continues to provide great customer service and this keyboard is around I'll remain a loyal customer.

Too many “Ss”. Second one is much, much better.
I have had several of cases like these and this one seemed to be perfect, at least for one day. The second day whenever you typed any key “s” would appear. I was like the “s” key was stuck. Very, very frustrating. It is going back.Update: The company sent a replacement and it is so much better. Every company has some problems with some of their merchandise for one reason or another. This company out did themself in rectifiying my problem and the case is now great. I is the best one I have tried. Thanks for your help!

Right shift key is off!!
This case is beautiful and has a lot fantastic features. It’s solid and while some might think its heavy...that doesn’t bother me at all.What is kind of a bummer is the the shift key on the right is not in the right place. I might have returned it for that reason...but because this case is sooo nice other than that...I’m going to try to retrain my right pinky. Ugh. So just know that about the right shift key if you are considering buying this. If you do a lot of typing...this could be an issue. This explains my 4 stars. The case is so nice though, I only took off one star.

Excellent product!
This is one of my favorite Amazon purchases! It is durable, attractive, protective and very versatile. I am using it with my iPad right now as I write this review. It fit my 10” iPad Pro perfectly. It was easy to set up. I have been extremely happy with this purchase. I like that it swivels all the way around so that I can use the keyboard when I want, or use the cover as a stand. It even works well when I want to take pictures or video with my iPad. I can hold it at any angle! I can’t say enough good things about this product.....especially since it has been dropped a few times with no damage at all. What more could you want?

Liking this keyboard/case.
The first thing I noticed about this keyboard, I still have access to the volume keys which is an advantage when I flip the case over to use it as a standard IPad. Other keyboards I noticed, and one I returned, covered the volume keys forcing you to open the keyboard when using as a standard ipad. Syncing the Bluetooth was very easy. They keyboard itself works very well. Overall, so far, I’m very satisfied with this purchase.
