Solid Beach Cruiser
Great bike for a great price. I love that the seat is comfy as are the handle bars. I wasn't able to build it myself but I took it to my local bike shop and they assembled it for me. Overall, very content with this purchase.

Awesome bike!
First off, I love my new bike!About me: I am a 61-year-old, 5' 2" woman and I live in the desert southwest, not at the beach. I have been riding a 24" aluminum Kent girl's bike for 4 months around 5 miles/day. I ride on paved roads, but some of them are rough in spots, leading to a jarring and noisy ride from the rattling on that bike. Perhaps the Kent bike is not be intended to be ridden in these conditions for an adult's exercise, so I began looking for a new bike. I found great reviews about Firmstrong and Beachbikes.com.I was concerned about the fact that the Urban Lady does not have a low step-thru, but the "Finding the right size" video and the "Test Ride Guarantee" convinced me to try a 26" bike, and it's a great fit. I'm still able to do a modified step-thru dismount by coasting on the left pedal while I step thru. The adjustable handlebars are great and have made riding so much more comfortable than my small bike where I had to lean too far forward because I couldn't adjust the handlebars. The steel construction also makes a far better (and less noisy) riding experience as I no longer feel every bump in the road, or maybe it's the larger tires, I don't know.Assembly was easy once I purchased a set of hex keys. The seat is comfortable, tho I did use my own bike seat. I feel I get a little traction because of the stitching on my seat, but maybe I'm just used to it.I haven't heard from a mechanic, but I did get a welcome email from Dustin, in which I was encouraged to contact BeachBikes if I need assistance.Bottom line: awesome bike!

I LOVE IT!
OMG!!!! I LOVE IT!!! As a woman who is 55+ and has not ridden a bike in almost 20 years, all I can say is that this brings back all of the wonderful feelings of freedom, youth, fun, etc. As soon as I had it assembled and adjusted (it only took about an hour and a half to have it absolutely 100% complete) I had to take it out for at least a short ride. My legs started getting tired before I wanted to return, otherwise I would have ridden forever. Super comfy seat, the handlebars are perfect since I suffer from neck and shoulder problems, and it is quite easy to mount and dismount. The brakes (coaster brakes) are super effective and easy to use.

Damaged upon arrival, then fixed...great bike!
The bike I ordered arrived damaged. Cracked headset locknut and damaged fork steer tube (see images). There was NO damage to the shipping box, so I believe the damage occurred before packing. The damage prevented me from assembling the bike. I contacted Firmstrong directly via telephone. They were extremely easy to deal with and confirmed to me on the same day that replacement forks and a new locknut would be shipped out immediately. The parts were received yesterday. I completed assembly and my daughter is now thoroughly enjoying her new bike! The bike itself is very nice quality. Assembly is extremely easy. once assembled, the bikes feels solid and rides smooth and effortlessly. I'm a single-speed fan, but my daughter wanted a multi-speed. The twist-shift grip works well. The gear transitions are appropriate. It's a quality bike I would recommend to others. Firmstrong was extremely pleasant to deal with in prompt replacement of damaged components.

Excellent company-they really reached out offering any help with their mechanic. Hard to find such a great company like this. The bike is amazing love how comfortable it is and how the handle bars come back so you can sit up straight doesn't put stress on your shoulders. Would recommend it to anyone just buy one already you won't regret it!

Looks & Rides Like a Dream
I'm 5'0" tall; I ordered the 24" single-speed model, and it fits my petite frame perfectly. I got the mint green color, and it's so pretty and girly...I love it! My husband assembled the bike during his lunch break, and I was riding around the neighborhood that afternoon. The box it came in conveniently lists the tools that are needed to assemble the bike. Make sure you have a set of allen wrenches, as a lot of the assembly relies on this tool. The Urban Lady is perfect for casual riding along flat surfaces. I own a mountain bike, but I like to use this cruiser when I'm just riding around the neighborhood and don't want to fuss with all the gears on my mountain bike. The coaster brakes are easy to use and remind me of the bikes I rode as a kid. The wide seat makes for a comfortable ride, even when going over small bumps in the road. If you want a casual, cute, affordable cruiser, the Urban Lady is a solid choice.

Nice Girls Beach Cruiser!
We bought two Firmstong beach cruisers this summer. They are simple to assemble and well-made. The instruction book and manuel are easy to follow. They are lighter than some of the other affordable bicycles I've purchased. The seat is pretty comfortable with springs that give. Bought this one for my daughter who is 4' 9" tall and able to ride the 24" version. I bought this bicycle as an Amazon Warehouse deal and my only complaint is that they didn't repackage it - so the parts moved around in the box causing some damage (small tear in seat, few scratches, and possible rim warp) so wish I had bought a new one instead. I then bought a new 26" men's version on Amazon and it was packaged very well with no damage from shipping. If the cost difference isn't much, it's safer to buy a new one so it is in original shipping packaging to prevent heavy parts from banging against each other during shipping. That being said, we are happy with both bicycles so far!
