Heavy duty lock. Easy to program!

I have used this lock and other versions for years and this seems to be some improvement. Very soft and smooth clasp and dial operation. However be aware that unlike EVERY OTHER lock on market including master, the line for comination is not on middle of lock, but at top, so you have to get used to it. Also the rubber parts fell off immediately upon receipt (rubber gasket around lock, and rubber cover to combo.

A bit disappointed in how this product was delivered and the condition of the actual item when removing it from the product packaging, it borderline looked used.Apart from the concerns of the item not being in so new condition, this lock weighs as much as it looks in heavy duty and durability. This might not be the lock you need if you're not looking for something that feels as heavy as this does. I wanted to purchase this lock to see if it fits some eye holes on some hard case luggage I have, but I suppose my measurements are off, and while this fits through the loops it can't rotate around, and I feel like that just calls for quick damage to the interface when traveling.Product packaging and shipping quality, especially when considering people might purchase these as gifts, should be improved.

First 1 star review ever, First off, this is not the genuine brand Master Lock you usually find at big box stores. Its a cheap "Made in China" lock. It will do the job if you rarely need to access it. But if you plan on opening it daily, good luck... The dials are very hard to turn, I tried rolling them with my thumbs, even with my finger nails. They are very tough/stiff. I sprayed WD-40 to loosen them up. It didn't help. We are replacing the lock on our front gate for our truck yard. I didn't put it out there because I know I would be getting called down here at 4am to unlock the gate because nobody would be able to open it. Tried to save a few bucks, and again I am reminded, you get what you pay for. I am a heavy duty mechanic with 16+ years experience of fixing and rigging things to get the job done, I struggled and eventually gave up. No I would not recommend this product to anyone. I plan on returning it, or giving it to someone I dislike... Read other reviews if you don't believe me.

Great lock - solid and easy to use.

I am using this outdoors all year long in the midwest (northern illinois) and it has surved the hot summer days and cold snowy and wet winters. No signs of wear or locking up. The rubber cover for the dials do a good job of keeping the number dials clean and usable.Ability to set or change code is a great feature.Pros- holding up well in hot summers and cold winters- long enough to fit fence latch- no signs of dials locking upCons- rubber cover for dials can fall off at times but is easy to put back on.

As a padlock, it works fine. I question the “rugged” features which turn out to be worthless. These would be the rubber dial cap and rubber bumper. The “bumper” is just a rubber band that rolls up and down the lock until it falls off. As a “feature”, this is trash. The rubber cap that supposedly secures the dials to make this “weatherproof”. More trash, It continues to fall off. And even after I pick it up off the ground, squeeze back the rubber prongs that act as the hinge LOL. It still doesn’t snap in place to protect the dial.So, if this is for your gym locker, it’ll work fine. Just remove the parts I mentioned first. They’re going to fall off anyway.

I looked all over online and in stores in order to find a code lock that was actually meant for outdoor use. I’m so glad I finally stumbled across this one because they are actually super hard to find ones that have a covered code area and are meant for the outdoors. I’ve used this all winter long and it has yet to freeze up on me or fail in any way, I haven’t even had to oil it or anything yet. Highly recommend this option it’s also very durable and nicely constructed.

Quality feeling lock, I like the fact the line for combination is to the front underneath for ease if reading.Box looks a little out of character for other Master Lock products

Works perfectly. The rubber cover on the bottom is useless and came off very easily just by handling the lock . But no issues at all with rusting. Good purchase so far.

These are fine. Bought 3 and all got set OK but the rubber ring to act as a buffer so as not to ding my trailer(or whatever) slips off one like its greased and the others won't stay around the lock long. One boix missing instructions. Obviously these are returns or they purchased a pallet and the condition will vary. The 3 I got were fine.Got another and it is fine, like new
