5*? Why?I ordered this coat, using common sense, based on all my clothing requirements, and this runs so dang small.I read a lot of reviews, and mostly, it seemed like a bunch of protein shake, muscle building meatheads who just screwed up when ordering their size.Not the case!I'm basically average, maybe I'm marginally more muscular than average, but this ran so, dang, small, everywhere.Do yourself a favor, and just imagine what size you normally go with, and order 1 size bigger.Trust me, hit the thumbs up if you've been through this exact same process, or if you followed my advice, and ordered one size larger and it turned out perfectly.

These images are comparing this jacket to the vintage one, the vintage one being the lighter grey. I originally bought the original one on eBay for a Steve Harrington cosplay. It’s too big for me, so I figured I’d try one of these. The “grey” color is too dark in my opinion, I’m most likely going to return it for a “light grey” one. Overall very nice jacket, it’s made of thicker material than the original. It’s tighter around the armpits and waist. However, minuscule details are changed form the vintage one, such as the length of the shoulder straps, the little metal snaps, as well as the zipper.

This jacket is a classic, and many people love to keep with the same type of clothing that they purchased in their youth. I bought this as a gift for my dad that purchase his first jacket about 40 years ago. When he was a young man, his coat was only listed as an XL, and it fits him very well. After years of wear, it is time to retire his old jacket and get him a new one. I ordered this jacket, and I got it in size his old coat sated as XL, but only to find that the measurements are off and the jacket was too small for him. Luckily for me, I could return it with Amazon Prime membership and get the larger XXL jacket. The XXL is about the right size for the size, and it matches the old jacket.Buyers should be aware that the jacket does run about one size too small. With comparing the two jackets, the one from 40 years ago is very similar, and I noticed a few improvements with the stitching.Thanks for providing this jacket here on Amazon, it was great to purchase a classic jacket for my dad.

Amazing gift for my fiancé. He wanted one of these for forever now. He was looking over the official Members Only site and told me they were on sale at $75 from the usual $100. I told him to let me check amazon first (a regular saying in our household lol). I was amazed at the price and thought there was no way it was authentic but the reviews were all positive! My fiancé is a small man, 5’7” and 115 lbs soaking wet so he always wants everything in a size Small. All of the reviews warned about sizing and it seemed like we would need a Medium, so that’s what I went with. As soon as he opened it he was skeptical about the size but it was a perfect fit! It’s a lighter jacket, perfect for our wishy-washy weather here in Nashville, he’s been getting a lot of wear out of it already. The only odd thing is that there was some sort of residue/debris on the inside of the jacket. He was wearing a white shirt when he first tried it on, and it left black dustings on the shirt. A cycle through the wash took care of that though, so I assume it’s just something from laying around before being ordered. It didn’t bother us enough to take off a star. His brother wants one too now!

Overall quality of the jacket is nice. Better than a typical windbreaker and warmer too. Fit is slim. I wear med tshirts and this jacket fits similar. Has two pockets in front, one on chest, and one inside. I'm 6'0 135lbs and have added a photo for reference.

Great jacket.I was looking for a casual jacket to wear to work over my button-up and polo shirts.This jacket is perfect for Michigan spring (30-50F).I ordered the navy blue color, as the black was more expensive.The jacket has some degree of water resistance as I splashed some beer on it and the droplets beaded up.Regarding the fit, I am 6' 175lb. slim build.I ordered a medium and it was PERFECT.I have read many reviews saying to order a size up.Do NOT order a size up unless you are overweight.If you like a well tailored fit, order the same size you do for t-shirts. Really runs small. In a normal jacket I can just fit into a Large. I ordered this jacket in XXL after reading the other reviews. An XXL should fit me like a tent but this one is still tight through the shoulders and arms. More like an L. I can wear it, but this jacket is definitely NOT sized for fully grown Americans.Other than the sizing it's a nice jacket though. Good for cool days when you need something but not a winter jacket.

This jacket looks nice but does not fit at all. I originally ordered a Large which fit like a medium so I ordered a size up hoping that would resolve the issue but it fit the same just a little roomier in the stomach area. I'm very disappointed and willl be returning both jackets and never ordering these jackets again. Which sucks because I really like the style and look. But the fit is horrible. If you're any taller than 5'8" ish than these jackets are not for you.

Excellent quality and surprisingly fast delivery. I was misled by reviews on the US Amazon stating this jacket was too small, but was able to return a larger size very quickly with Amazon's service and even received payment for delivery costs. I don't understand the negative reviews on this, as everything is as expected and quality is great.

the zip is on the opposite side to what ours are in uk. but you get used to it. brings back memories for me this members only jacket.

Feels cheap, do doubt it's legitimate

The jacket I was so anxious to receive, arrived exactly as promised. The jacket I received was beautiful and just as described in the add. Unfortunately it was too tight, too small for me even though it was marked, "Large" which is my normally. However this garment was simply too small for me Much too tight. Could never expect to wear a sweater or vest under it, which happens sometimes. I usually fit perfectly in clothes which I usually order as , Large, (my usual size). The size chart on this one is incorrect. It's just not like the usual size I find in other clothes that I buy.That's unfortunate: but this does not diminish the great style and quality of the jacket I received and unfortunately had to return. So, if you decide to buy this perfect jacket, measure yourself carefully and make sure you allow a little extra breathing place to let you wear a sweater or other when you will need it.You won't be sorry buying this garment if it fits. It's beautiful designed and it's a real quality item for the reasonable price. If it fits, you'll look smashing.
