Live Moss Assortment for Terrariums - Frog, Haircap, Cushions, Lichen

I plan on using these mosses for a terrarium. The amount of moss that arrived was as expected. Otherwise the order was disappointing. I received 5 pieces of moss of various sizes. They were dry and not packaged. They were just dry slices of moss and dirt put in an Amazon mailer envelope. There was no insert. I had read that there was supposed to be an insert with instructions and moss identification. Nothing here. This looks like 3 different types of moss in total, sent in 5 pieces. Plus the stones. This came from Moss Acres. Like other reviewers I wish this were coming from the earlier sellers. It sounds like they took more care. I do think with water the mosses will rehydrate just fine. But the product doesn't measure up to the description.

The description said 8 small cushion moss, I only received 2. That was the moss I was looking forward to. And there were no mood moss. It had a bunch of the cheapy moss. Very little variety and not like the description.Were not in ziplock bags, they were just thrown in the shipping bag. As soon as I opened the bag, moss and dirt fell out.

I am so pleased with this assortment of live moss. I am making a themed terrarium as a gift and I really wanted to use live moss rather than dried moss. This was absolutely perfect because it came with 5 different types of moss so I could really get into arranging them in the terrarium. Each moss is very unique and they look so cool altogether in the terrarium. The cushion mosses are my personal favorite, my assortment came with two variations of cushion moss and they are just so cute! They arrived on time are were still very fresh when I took them out of the box. The seller provided an informative sheet that described each moss and how to plant and care for them. Also this assortment included enough moss to fill 2 terrarium dishes (one about 9 inches in diameter, and the other about 4 inches in diameter). Overall I am 110% satisfied with this purchase and am even considering making another terrarium because the finished produce turned out so adorable! (NOTE: I did use one other plant in my terrarium that was not part of the moss assortment. That plant is called Baby's Tears and it is placed behind the house front in my terrarium.)

I LOVE THESE MOSS-BABIES! I was preparing myself for one of the usual packages "living" packages: wilted, squeezed into box, etc., but this time the plants were very carefully shipped to me, and I suspect that ALL of them will survive for me. This makes me VERY happy! The plants are dainty and beautiful. I am very grateful I found this seller. - Juju.

I was nervous ordering plants online because that seems a bit counter-intuitive to me, but the little dears arrived safe and sound and in good shape. I wanted to spruce up my aquarium, as well as use them to make a little 3 layered moss display for a client (I'm an interior designer). I used a small three tier glass display case (you usually see candy or something of that sort in these), added a little soil, water, a layer of different moss on each level, and voila! A beautiful and easy to maintain decor piece. The client only had to water every few months (their desire was to incorporate easy to maintain plants in the design scheme), it required little light, and lasted forever.The excess moss also happily topped my Fluval Chi Aquarium. I loved the classic and effortless look that it provided. Though I wasn't sure if it would hold up in that environment it survived well and thrived. I put it on the top of my aquarium where the filtered water comes out, so there was a gentle flow of water, but it wasn't entirely submerged.I'm very impressed with the quality of the plants I received and with the shipping speed as well. I am accustomed to ordering Prime products and while these aren't eligible for Prime, they still shipped very quickly. I'm a very satisfied customer and would definitely order this and other products from this company again. I feel comfortable ordering​ my plants online.

This is my third time purchasing this assortment of moss( March 2017, July 2017 and July 2018). I was very happy with my first two orders and not so much with the third. My first two orders were very much as pictured and came moist with a descriptive insert about the different mosses. My third order came in a box that had soil falling out of the cracks onto my counter as I tried to open the box. All of the moss was very dry and there weren’t as many varieties- no cushion moss which in the other two orders I received many as shown in the photo. I also got no polished stones with this order. The insert that comes with the product has also changed- it’s very general and doesn’t talk about the moss varieties. The listing states it’s the “original moss assortment by Eileenb58” but it’s now sold by MossAcres. I’m not sure if the seller has changed but the product is now very different and not in a good way. I’m still rating this a four as I was very pleased with my first two orders but after this last order I’m not sure I will purchase from them in the future.

The is a great assortment for terrariums. They were packaged well, and there was a lot more than I expected. The rocks are kind of pathetic, but I bought it for the moss, so I didn't really care about those. I used this one order for three different terrariums, and it's perfect. After a month, they're growing beautifully. I will order from this company again.P.S. I'm uploading a couple of pictures of one of the terrariums. Unfortunately, the plants I purchased at the same time from a different company didn't fair so well, but it looked great for a few days.

This was gorgeous and I had fun planting my terrarium. There was so much in this order I have plenty to share with friends. I'm just learning, but it seems to be working great. I haven't killed it yet! I bought a candle lantern with a door and vent at the top for the container. It looks old fashion and just cost $14 at the competitor. It has some door gaps and the top vent so I use the water spritzer more often. However it is more self-caring than I expected. The moss and a couple green plants and its lovely!
