Good quality scale, same accuracy as the scale at my doctor's office
I ordered this scale to help with my weight-loss journey. I weighed 185 lbs. in high school, ballooned up to almost 300 lbs, and now weigh 215 lbs.If you are reading this review you are probably trying to wade through the endless amounts of weight scales available online and in various retailers. I was initially concerned with the price of this scale because there are many other scales around this price range than have been reported to stop working after a few months. I'm the kind of shopper that is willing to pay MORE for a quality product. I decided to try this scale, and have to say I am pleased with the product.Price-------------------------------I think $30~ is a fair price for this scale, if anything, it could be slightly more expensive.Quality/features------------------------------1. The stainless steel looks good to me, no complaints here.2. The digital screen is very easy to read with the black on blue background.3. I have size 13 feet and can still fit on the scale.4. auto shutoff feature is niceAccuracy------------------------I honestly doubted that any scale at this price point would be accurate. To test the accuracy, I weighed myself at my doctor's office with one of their "professional" scales and immediately weighed myself when I returned home. The difference was only about 1-2 tenths of a pound (.1 or .2). Personally, I find this variance acceptable and I'm pleasantly surprised with this accuracy.I purchased this scale in September 2016 and it is still working great in December 2016! I will update my review if any problems arise.

Accurate scale
This scale is sleek and light weight plus it works well. I find it to be accurate. It arrived quickly and easy to set up. Would purchase Taylor products in future.

Bought for my brother, it's perfect for his use.
Very easy to use. Digital read out is clear. Can be read in pounds or kilos or stones.

Minor issue with readout, decent product generally.
I like it a good bit. Seems accurate enough, within 2 lbs of my dr's scale so not bad at all. I like the aluminum, my last two scales were glass and both met the same ends: something fell from the bathroom counter and they shattered. Not this time! The scale arrived packaged appropriately, in a timely fashion and on the projected schedule. My one complaint is that when weighing, it will sometimes go off and stop computing before a steady weight has been achieved, no matter how still I am. It gives accurate readings whether I'm on one or both feet, as long as the surface is level and hard (hardwood floor in this case and yes, level. I checked)...provided it can determine a weight. It fluctuates between about 8 lbs--165..166.8...171.4....172...171.4....164.2...165.8...165.2...167.4...169.--cuts off. I sometimes have issues obtaining an immediate reading on other scales due to a balance issue (my legs are two different lengths and balancing between them is hard so if that doesn't work I shift to one foot entirely) and by the time I maintain steady balance on one or both feet, it normally shuts down and I have to start over and hope it allows me to try again successfully. I've had issues in the past with the adjusting weight reading in the time it takes to find the "sweet spot" but have never had a scale just...give up on me. Frustrating. Sometimes I give up and just guess based on a midpoint between the high and low readings, but that is NOT how a scale is supposed to work.Minor issue and it doesn't happen ALL the time. The scale does register and weigh my cat though, he sat on it and somehow activated it and was still long enough to determine that he weighs 12.8 lbs. Fatty! :) That was impressive, anyway. Never seen a scale do that.

Impressive Bathroom Scale
When my 16-year-old Health-o-meter 840D electronic digital scale suddenly died I was disappointed. That disappointment did not last long, however, once I received my new Taylor 7407 digital scale! I had checked the bathroom scale ratings on a leading consumer magazine website and found another Taylor model, the 7506, was on the top of the list. I also looked at a lot of scales and read many reviews before settling on the Taylor 7407. Its 0.8" thick profile is very stable, and it does not creak and groan like my old plastic scale, in fact when you step on it doesn't make a sound. It is functional and attractive, and it is very accurate and easy to read. Calibration is quick and easy, but must be done each time the scale is moved to maintain accurate readings. I like the fact that the top is stainless steel instead of glass, and that it uses lithium batteries so I won't be changing batteries for a long time. I have had a few bathroom scales in my lifetime, and this is by far the best of the bunch.

Taylor Precision Products Digital Scales for Body Weight, High 400 LB Capacity,
This is my second Taylor digital scale. My husband had a scale that wouldn't budge after 3 weeks and no change even with new battery. So I got this scale and my husband couldn't use it because he can't settle himself down in the 4 seconds it gives you before turning it off to try again. so I gave him my scale and it doesn't do that to him. I can get on it and be steady right away it works beautifully!! I love this scale!!!I ended up returning it because it started doing the same to me. I could lean one way and get a weight and lean another way and get a different weight. Stand straight and it would fluctuate and turn off. Then you have to start over. Bought one a local store same brand but different model and it's wonderful.

weighted
finally decided to get a digital scale. Not all the lights on the display are working. Looked like it had a rough trip. Should send it back but I didn't pay much for it. It still should work
