Throw Out Bearing on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited started to make a loud squeal noise, and continue to get worse. I had been told by a mechanic buddy that to get to the throw out bearing, the transmission needed to be dropped, so if you are going to change the throw out bearing, go ahead a replace the clutch. I originally ordered a Clutch replacement kit, standard brand for a Jeep, and the throughout bearing that came with the kit was very light weight and cheaply made. I found the Center force Throw out Bearing on Amazon, and read all the good reviews, so I ordered this part to go with my replacement kit. Once I got the throw out bearing, the difference between the Center force and the Kit bearings were day and night. The Center force bearing is a solid heavy piece of metal, it made the kit bearing look like cheap tinfoil. I was so impressed with the quality and strength, I sent the complete kit clutch back, and bit the bullet and ordered the Center force Clutch. On many Jeep forums I had read that the Center Force clutch was overkill in a Jeep Wrangler, and it could be true - My experience with the center force clutch and throw out is that you get what you pay for - It is the more expensive clutch out there, but if you want quality, spend the extra money and go with Center Force. I have 197k miles on my 2008 JK, and as any Jeep Wrangler owner who loves their Jeep and wants to see 400k - 500k miles out of it, replace parts with the best parts. As far as clutch pressure, it's great, not too stiff, and not weak, still have a lot of pedal. Shifting is like a sports car, smooth shifting - My old clutch was a small struggle to find reverse, now goes into reverse as easy as first. I recommend, if you need to replace the clutch, go with Center force, and the Center force Bearing

Edit 3/12.Junk clutch. Not sure what the issue is but....Not confident in this clutch
Edit Feb 23rd pulled this piece of junk out and installed a Spec 2 clutch kit. Problems solved. Thanks to Amazon for refunding my $ they are great.I bought this to replace a clutch that was ruined when the slave cylinder sprung a leak and ruined my clutch disc and the TOB was getting loud. Read the reviews and decided to buy this Centerforce for my Jeep JKU. I babied this thing during the break-in period. 500 miles nice and easy, then a few months later out of the blue I started having trouble shifting to first and reverse gear. Left my wife sitting at a stop light cause she couldn't get it into gear.Replaced Slave cylinder 3 times, master cylinder & brake cylinder once and bled the system for hours and weeks thinking I had an issue with the Hydraulics. I starting thinking I had a Transmission issue until I googled "Problems with Centerforce Clutch Jeep JK". Boy did I find a number of people who described the EXACT same thing I was going through. All who said when they replaced the Centerforce with another brand or stock clutch their issue of 1st and reverse shifting was gone. I'm going to have to nurse this until the summer and probably pull the Tranny again and see what's going on...But I have a feeling another new clutch is in my future.

Does NOT and I repeat Does NOT fit 2012, 2013, 2014 Jeep Wranglers with 3.6L engine!!!
I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler. My clutch at 27K started shuttering upon take-off. I purchased this exact product based upon the reputation of Centerforce and Amazons check to fit specifications. It arrived safe and sound and well packaged. I drove my jeep to 3 dealers trying to get service but since it would not duplicate the same issues every time all the time. They told me it's not a problem. Yet when it did shutter it shook change out of the cup holder and would make a cd skip in my receiver. <-- Yes I still use CD's. I finally pulled my transmission at home. I have 32K on the original clutch. I laid both clutches next to each other and they look very similar but the stock clutch measures 11" and the Centerforce measures in at 10" the bolt patterns were shorter obviously on the Centerforce. So just to be sure I set the clutch against the flywheel. No way would it fit. I contacted Amazon after an hour between 2 calls, my problem seems to be solved. I contacted Centerforce and they said the above clutch number is for the 3.8L not 3.6L. So save yourself the same grief, frustration, and dissapointment I had too endure. Hopefully this helps someone else. Oh and as of this time Centerforce does not make a clutch for the 3.6L engine. They are working on it. SPEC clutch does make a performance upgrade clutch for the 3.6L. Pricey but better than the stock garbage. I gave it 2 stars because it's not an issue with the product or with Amazon customer service. But, rather with the Technical Dept. at Amazon who posts and supposidly checks to make sure product is up to date and accurate.

I like it and it works great, wish it didnt slam into gear as rough as it does but it is more for racing than rock crawling.

Better than OEM
Arrived quickly and even came with an alignment tool that wasn't mentioned it came with. Other than that it feels amazingly light and bites hard even during the break in period. I feel that there is noticeable differences but that may be due to shaving the flywheel down.
