My wife loves these in the car, they are trivial to install and are nice and soft yet firm enough to support you. We have a car that rides like a truck, and it hurts her when we go over speed bumps and so on. These solve her problem. I don't have that problem, the natural bucket seat shape works for me, but I don't find these uncomfortable. There is one caution, that they do take up two or three inches of space, so if you already have to push the seat all the way back to fit your legs into the car, these are probably not for you (for that use...you could use them on other chairs). They don't look that sharp, since the curved sides of the bucket seat mean they're hanging out in space on their elastic bands until you sit back on them, but they do the job which is what counts.

Having to drive a stick shift for long hours, I found my lower left part of my back was in pain— it was because of the left foot having to use the clutch so often. After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this for more support.All I can say is wow wow wow! Immediately my lower back was held in a more stable, comfortable position and I felt like I could drive forever without pain. Well worth the purchase price!

The pillow fit well on the chair and offers the support I was looking for, the straps do not fit my chair well and it would be nice if there was a way to hide or remove them.

I bought this mainly for use in my 2020 Subaru Crosstrek. On long drives, the factory seats wreck havoc on my lower back and this seat cushion makes it feel better immediately. I've used it for a long roadtrip from Boston, MA to Key West, FL and never had back discomfort the entire time! I plan on bringing it with me on a flight from Boston to Tokyo as wellThe included straps work well but I don't think they're really needed. Once I get into the driver's seat and make some minor adjustments, it stays put the entire time. I used to have it strapped in but my wife shares the car with me. Her back is fine and she prefers not using the cushion. So she takes it off whenever she's driving the car.

What I like about this pillow is that it is comfortable and adjustable for very large chairs ( driver seat) to normal chairs ( slender back dining room chair ) Example when I first got it. I put it on a normal chair and the straps were way too large for it. It just fell over. Then I realized that you can take off the extra middle strap, and snap it to the another strap to make it smaller. That was really wonderful in discovering that!The only con I would say is that the pillow is very thick. So if you have a normal chair, you will be sitting in the middle of the chair not the back of it. I know that sounds obvious, but it does change things in the way that you sit in the chair. I am a musician and I bought it for playing my instrument. I am having neck problems and my physical therapist is working on better posture with me. My right hand goes numb at times because of my bad posture. Plus I have a very heavy clarinet which sits on my right thumb so I bought a support stick that sits on the chair in between my legs while I play the clarinet.the support stick is barely on the chair because I am sitting so forward on the chair. That is my only con with this chair pad. It is very comfortable as it says, but very thick. I expected it to be half as thick as it was. I will not be returning it as I can use it with some chairs at home , but I will not be using it in every chair, unfortunately.Also Putting it in my car, ( Honda Odyssey ) the seats are too plush and it does not work as I am nearly against the steering wheel if I want my feet to touch the gas pedal. I don’t think it’s very good for driving as you will be too close to the airbag if it goes off. That’s another con. As I said, the cushion is very thick. I think it’s about 4 inches at its largest point. That is quite a substantial amount of cushion. I expected it to be 2-3 inches thick.It really does make a difference in some things. Just beware of this measurement.

I read all the 5-star reviews on this product with some skepticism, but upon receiving it today via Amazon Prime, I was at once impressed. The build quality seemed decent, and as someone else wrote, this memory foam product is the 'goldilocks' of seat cushions... not too firm and not too soft. The included elastic belt/buckle/extension units reached around my new executive chair quite easily, and I was able to adjust the height of this cushion to maximize pressure on my lower back area and thus my discomfort whilst sitting evaporated. I shot a couple of pics so you can see how well this product works and how it attaches to your existing chair. I'm not sure how this would work in an AUTOMOBILE seat as they are quite thick and wide, I did not try it in my car. Everlasting Comfort did a nice job packaging this in a plastic bag with a moisture wicking pad, instruction sheet, and lifetime warranty registration (online) instructions. I was impressed, as the manufacturer even gives their email address and invites you to immediately contact them if there are any issues or defects, and they will directly send you a replacement! That's outstanding, tells me they have confidence in their product. For the small price, I think this is a worthwhile purchase, and speaking as a person who is now dealing with daily chronic sciatic and lower back pain, I regard this item as a very good purchase decision on my part and recommend anyone in similar circumstances to try it. Given Amazon's liberal return policy, why not? I didn't even take it out of the plastic bag until I sat in my chair a bit and tried it out. Note that in my photos, a secondary chair pad (purchased here on Amazon) is shown where you 'sit' - that item is from a different memory foam manufacturer well known for their mattresses. The chair itself is also from that same famous memory foam manufacturer, but the chair did not support my lower back at all, even trying every conceivable adjustment on the chair. So this cushion was a Godsend. Mark me a happy camper.
