Poopendous!

Seriously - this book saved my sanity. We first discovered it on Netflix’ story time show. It made poop fun and somehow not scary to do in the toilet for my - yes - 4 year old!!! So, we bought the book and he finally did it THAT DAY. It’s what worked for us. He still occasionally asks us to read it while he poops.

I gave this to nephews and a grandaughter. I loved reading it to each of them on separate occasions. They laughed and loved the fun and sillynous of it. The author really caught what children of this age think is funny. Depending on the age this can be something that they are dealing with...and laughing at it helps to get through what may be uncomfortable. The boys, ages 7 through 3 all thought it was soooo great. Granddaughter waited until she was alone with a funny grandma to giggle.

There is nothing like potty humor to make kids laugh and adults alike who are not afraid to have fun and giggle with the kids.The illustrations are terrific and work so well with the silly rhyming stories. Too many harsh moments in life not to be able to appreciate some light hearted reading. Not only is it funny but it tells the true story of a very natural fact of life. No harm done here...just healthy laughter. To the guy with the bad review....If you don't like potty humor, why did you read it?

It seems that my 9 year old is obsessed with poo. She changes the words to songs she hears to include the word "poop," and when I asked her what she wanted for Christmas, she answered, "Poop!" She thinks its hysterical. She's getting this great book under the tree this year. Now...if i can just get her to stop singing in public (church) about poo.....

Great book for young children. My granddaughter giggles all the way through it.

My granddaughter age 6 loves this at bedtime and knows it is funny with us at home but not a show and tell book. Perfect science lessons for first graders and up!

This is a great, funny and useful book especially for the potty training set. My granddaughter and her visiting friends laughed and loved it.
