Great 6" ruler for crafting and intricate measuring small areas. Recommend and would buy again. Sturdy and easy to read.

I recently bought a 4 pk of Amazon Basics 6" stainless steel ruler. I suppose they are as good as most out there. But I ran into a tight situation where I needed to read the ruler along the top edge, in inches. I discovered that the Basics, and it appears most others, have one edge devoted to metric. I just needed a ruler in inches on both edges, that's easy to read, that actually starts at 0. This is it!!

I needed a replacement ruler for monogramming as I had worn out my previous one. These rulers are the best because the ruler itself has no extra space on the ends. So when measuring for placement on items for monogramming, you need the ruler measurement to start on the actual end. Most rulers have extra space on both ends which is not helpful or useful in this situation. I had a difficult time finding this type of ruler and was relieved to get these. The only drawback is with constant use, the measurements will start to wear over time and become hard to read. But the rulers themselves, as aluminum with the black numbers and increments, show up very well on different fabrics and products. Easy to read, lightweight to use.

I am completely satisfied with the item. It does just what is described on the Amazon site. The quality and workmanship is excellent. I've had lots of cheap rulers. This one I'll save. It's great.
