The Baader Planetarium Multi Purpose Coma Corrector (MPCC) is a high-performance optical accessory designed for 2" eyepieces, providing a full field of view without magnification increase. It requires no additional back-focus, reduces vignetting, and is available at a competitive price, making it an essential tool for amateur astronomers looking to enhance their viewing experience.

Spend the $80 extra for this corrector!
I bought a cheaper coma corrector that I used for a year. It was heavy and I don't think I ever got the backfocus right. I had problems with reflections and chromatic aberration with the old one.Lesson - I should have spent the extra $80 a year ago and saved a lot of time and frustration. This does what it's supposed to do, easily. It's lightweight. If you're a DSLR user with a standard t-ring, you won't need to screw around with spacers to get the proper backfocus. Just pop it on and go. Stars are nice and round edge to edge using an APS-C sensor with an f5 newtonian.

So far so good!
So these images represent before and after. You can CLEARLY see the difference this coma corrector makes. I needed to use a 30mm Tele-extender between the ASI183mm and the Baader Coma Corrector to get the best correction. So if you think this is just going to be a plug-n-play, well your probably wrong. You will want to experiment to find the best distance for your particular setup, fortunately I had both a 15 and a 30mm, and the 30mm is best by far. Star are nice and tight.

Works perfect!
This works perfectly for my 12" f/5 newtonian. The stars are completely pinpoint all the way to the edge of my DSLR frame. Definitely worth it, I can use the entire frame now!

On my f/4 works fine
Using this on my Orion f/4 6" and it corrects edge of field stars, mind you the very edge isn't perfect, but I am using a APS-C sensor.
