Used to replace Z-strip between a wooden floor and carpet, where the carpet had pulled loose. I now have good clamping, and an even strip. 70mm may seem a bit wide, but it works fine. This was pretty much the only option to have a single run of grip along an edge, so had little choice anyway. I preferred the screws (into floorboards), which were easy to pop in, and since I had strips meeting at corners, it meant I could adjust the screws so abutting strips sat evenly (something I hadn't considered until I laid the second strip).

This is a great product… very slim and easy to cut to size with a junior hacksaw. The only troubling problem was the P&P was the same price as the item itself. It is sill the best for what i was looking for so took it anyway and ordered a further 2 of these.

The product seems to be well made and a nice simple profile.The extra width is beneficial as it allows for imperfections to be hidden nicely.I've used it as a transition between carpet and laminate and have found its strong material to be far better than z bar which can bend if you get a heavyweight standing on it.The finish is exactly what I want, a nice subtle matte.

Needed a clean looking, wide bar to replace cheap z-bar type / cover join where carpet end had become tatty. Feels very high quality, much more robust to foot traffic, and the titanium finish looks very classy. Cut with hacksaw without issue, fixings were included. Arrived quickly, and very well packaged in solid cardboard tube to prevent bending in transit.

Really impressed with carpet runner good quality and did the Job, only concern was price of postage until it arrived, it was well packed then put in cardboard tube so item wasn’t damaged in transit...hence the postage price
