Great brush! Long-lasting, quickly cleans deep beverage containers
This is an excellent long-lasting brush. This new one replaces one I bought approx 2 yrs ago. I could not live without it. I find the plunging motion most helpful.I have not had any freeze and quit moving. It fits into everything I regularly use including the deeper to-go water bottles, etc.. The bristles do a good job of cleaning the nasty tops on sippy twisting to-go beverage containers. It makes glass cleaning much quicker than if using a cloth or other dish brushes. Why did I buy the first brush? I had not been behind a bar cleaning glassware in decades but we used to use commercial products with similar plunging twisting action brushes that were mounted upright. When I saw this brush it reminded me of the speed/efficiency of the twisting plunging action of the brushes that cleaned hundreds of dried red wine to ice cream drink glasses. The bristles are softer, less dense and longer than what I thought would work. I did a couple of test pushes in the grocery store and bought one.My brush and bristles last an embaressingly long time-two yrs! The bristles are not really worn down I just impulse replace or worry about viruses and bacteria this time of year. I hate having Chlorox around my organic fragrance free house but it has its place and I do soak brushes in 10% solution for ten minutes every so often, if somone has been sick or if some glasses were left longer than usual in the sink.I do not have a dishwasher nor a large anount of dishes. I try to use it only for beverage containers, rinse it in hot H2O and dry somewhat vertically in my dish rack. I recently cleaned a cupboard full of unused fancy crystal from small Orrefors whisky glasses to Lalique champagne flutes (former life-no comment, please) and used the nearly 2 yr old brush I just replaced. I use it for soup mugs and it cleans fatty residue just fine. I cringe and wonder if the next wine glass will get greasy but so far so good.Dry lip balmsand some lipsticks require a bit more cleaning than these soft bristles can muster. I stop and rub clean with my fingertips andfollow by another pass with the brush. If I was going to improve it I might make the bristles at the top a bit more dense and periodically wish it had a soap dispenser. But I cuss my two Oxo dish brushes with soap dispensers rather frequently, occasionally use Seventh Generation Glass Cleaner or homemade glass cleaner instead of Seventh Generation Free&Clear Dish Solution for extra sparkle so nix the soap dispenser idea. You can't go wrong for less than $12. Old ones are repurposed for all kinds of dirty nooks and crannies indoors and out.

Love this handy-dandy little kitchen helper!
This is a great little tool that works on our glassware, pots and pans, and hard to reach areas around the sink with a swivel-extender wand that rotates back and forth as you press down. No more endless scrubbing with your dirty kitchen jobs! A life-saving little tool! Get it, it's worth the money. Thanks, Amazon!

Effective Bottle Brush with a Slight Sticking Issue
The Dawn Twister Bottle Brush in white and blue is a handy tool for cleaning hard-to-reach spots in bottles and other containers. The brush effectively scrubs away residue and grime, and I appreciate the design that allows it to twist and spin for thorough cleaning. However, I did notice that it sticks a bit when pushing to make it spin, which can be a bit frustrating during use. It takes a little extra effort to get it to turn smoothly, but once you get the hang of it, it does a great job.Overall, this is a practical brush that does what it’s meant to do, and the twisting action is a great feature. Just be prepared for a little resistance when getting it started, and you’ll be cleaning like a pro!

product quality deriorated over the years and you cant contact a human at the dawn store.
I have been buying these for years. The first ones lasted for a reasonable about of time. Then they started coming apart after a short time. The Dawn store is the only one I've seen where you can't get through to a human. Usually if the robot can't answer the question it says it will pass it on to a human. That does not happen with the dawn store.I talked to Amazon. They could not help me contact the dawn store but they offered me a refund if I returned the brush. They gave me a refund less $2.50 because the brush was not in its original condition.I found a similar brush without the twist feature which it turned out worked just as well at a quarter the price and I'm sure will last many times as long.I think it's pretty much of a warning sign if you can't get through to a human even before you buy the product.

Internal spring rusts out
Fantastic brush, love the twisting action when depressing the handle. Cleans coffee mugs & glasses superbly. Reason for 3 rating is same as livedrummer reported - namely, the internal metal spring turns to rust after storing the brush handle-side down for a month or so. After reading livedrummer's review, I opened my failed unit so we can all better understand the issue. As you can see in the photos, the internal spring has rusted. The reason for this is because the handle is completely sealed, perhaps in an attempt to slow down the rusting process? In my opinion, this is a flawed approach, since water pours in from the topside of the handle and defeats any waterproofing the rubber handle may otherwise provide. Further, there's no hole or other hanging option on the handle bottom to give the customer a heads-up to hang this brush bristle-side down. Since I like this brush so much, I purchased 3 new ones. As shown in the photo, I've drilled a hole in the bottom of the handle of my failed unit, to see if it could be done without destroying the brush. Worked fine. So I'm going to try this on one of the new brushes and see if that fixes the issue by letting the water drain out from the handle since storing this thing bristle-side down isn't an option for me. I don't think a small hole will be enough to prevent the rusting but we'll see. Dawn Mfr, if you are listening, we would all be grateful if you would fix this brush by simply changing the spring to stainless steel or some other rust-proof metal. Easy fix.
