CarharttMen's 102517 Rugged Flex® Relaxed Fit Canvas 5-Pocket Work Pan

I had originally bought a pair of these at Academy and I was blown away that I had finally found a pair of nice looking pants that fit me absolutely perfect. They're comfortable, they're durable, they're not too heavy or too light. These pants check all the boxes for me. The perfect fit through the legs, they go great with boots or regular shoes, they make your butt look good, they sit at the perfect height on your waste and look awesome with a plain t shirt of your choice tucked in. I can't recommend these enough. As the title says, I ordered 3 more pairs in different colors after my experience with the first pair bought from Academy. I've had a chance to try them all on, and they all fit identically. The sizing is super consistent, unlike A LOT of other clothing manufacturers where two pairs of pants in the exact same size, can fit completely different. This is not the case for these. These are awesome. I am actually a carhartt hater too, because I don't like the direction the company is headed, but a well made pair of pants is..., a well made pair of pants.

Just what I was looking for! I bought two pairs of these pants for my partner. These are really nice, thin, stretchy, casual slacks. He is not allowed to wear them to work. That is what the other Carhartt's are for.What I love about Carhartt's are their extended sizes. He's a BIG guy and I've been able to buy him jeans, work pants, and now casual slacks in a brand that he likes.

I only wear Carhartt pants for work. They’re comfortable and allow for movement. The material is durable, meaning they don’t fall apart after the first few washes. The tech pocket is by far the best feature. I wish all pants had them.

I ordered these for my husband for work, he works outside and is very rough on his clothes. These held up well so far, no rips or tears but the sizing was inconsistent between different colors. He works with things that stain so I can’t comment on resistance to that, but so far so good!

These are great fitting, rugged, durable work pants. These pants last a few years (3-4) for me as an industrial mechanic before they need replacing.

Finally decided to get some Carhartt pants. I usually wear Levi's 559 for work at the warehouse. But after a while, they become saggy in the behind. Been doing way more data entry than before, so I need pants that have a little give at the waist while sitting. The Levi's were fine, but start to sag in the back after a while. These Rugged Flex Relaxed Fit are perfect replacement for the Levi's. The waist has that little bit of give so when you sit it doesn't dig into you. And with use of a Belt, the pants don't sag as much when walking around & dealing with moving boxes + pallets. The fabric has the same feel as denim. Glad to make the change from Levi's. Will get another pair soon. Wish they had my size in black.

Ordered these pants because I already owned a pair of the relaxed fit double front pants from Carhartt and fell in love with them, but wanted to get something without the double front. I figured these pants would essentially be identical fit-wise (ordered both at a 32x34), but the waist isn't even close. First off, these pants sit around my belly button rather than at my hip like the double fronts, and second, I've got about 2-3 extra inches of gap around my waist even though I bought the same size. It's the same "Rugged Flex Relaxed Fit" from the same brand; I don't understand how they could be so different. Amazed to see so many other people say the fit is great, and pretty disappointed to have to give these back. If you're here for the same reason as me, don't make the same mistake!

These are pretty good pants. A bit thinner and would tare if caught on a nail or something sharp, but most pants would. Overall pretty satisfied with them for work pants.

didn't fit like a size 38 it was tight
