Easy install and really added much light in a dreary basement. No more waiting for flickering lights to turn on or possibly not turn on.

These LED bulbs were exactly as described. I ordered the 10 pack because I had 5 light fixtures that needed bulb replacements. Each light fixture had 2 bulbs in it. The instructions were very easy to follow and the rewiring of the light fixture was also easy. I replaced all of the LED lights in about 2 hours. Also, these LED bulbs were much brighter than the original 40 watt flourescent lamps. I'm very pleased with the results but, also impressed with this product.

Don't waste your money. These don't last. I bought a 10-pack in December 2021. It is now July 2022 and two have already stopped working. One is flickering and the other is dark. I installed one or two per month over the last 6 months, so don't expect them to last long.

I replaced 3 ballasts and 6 U lights in the patio. They look great and come on instantly not like the old ones that would work when they wanted. The installation for a double U is a little tricky because they don’t show that in the diagram that’s included.

Huge improvement over the old fluorescent lights with a bad ballast (was taking forever to come on). Tools needed:1. Both phillips and flathead screwdrivers (or electric screwdriver with both bits).2. Possibly a wrench set or a c wrench. There was a small nut that I had to remove to take the ballast off.3. Wire cutter (some pliers will have a wire cutter built-in).4. Wire stripper (I used a sharp pair of household scissors).5. Wire caps. I used 22-10 gauge ones as you will be connecting up to 5 wires. Wago connectors will work, too.For each bulb, take the wires from one tombstone and connect/twist it with the black wire and the wires from the other tombstone and twist it with the white wire. Doesn't matter which tombstone is connected to the black or white.Generally very happy with the results! Great lighting for our laundry room. I just wish there was a pack of 2 for sale as 4 would be overkill (seeing how long these bulbs are supposed to last).

Excellent product at reasonable price. So much better than replacing balaster or even another florescent bulb. Be kind to yourself and go LED.

Wow, have been looking to replace the main lighting fixture in our kitchen for awhile as especially in the winter, the 40 watt (U-shaped) fluorescent's just did not seem to give off enough light. Instead of replacing the fixture with a new LED one, you can simply convert the old fixture to accommodate LED bulbs for less than half the cost of a new fixture. Took me about 10 minutes to remove the old ballast and rewire after watching a you-tube video. Highly recommend, very bright now, is instant on, and should save a significant amount of electricity as the light is usually on 8-12 hours per day.

The color temperature of these are good, but its a bit more white than I expected. Also, due to the the form factor, the light distribution isn't as good as the U-Shaped fluorescent ones. Super easy to install and a lot more efficient. I recommend these for switching to LED, would like to see more color temp options and maybe adjustable color temp.
