Decent quality for a kid action camera, sturdy, memory verified as correct
This a fun gopro alternative for kids. First thing about it is that is is pretty well built. It comes with a ton of different accessories. The camera does a good job with capturing pictures and video. If comparing them to a more expensive sports camera you are not going to be getting that level but it still gives you decent pictures. When taking motion videos, the quality is pretty decent. I would say the video quality varies depending on the time of the day. During the day it looks like an iphone 5 quality video I feel like. The closer you are to the night the quality of the video goes down due to lack of sunlight. There is no night vision on this device that I can tell so the video at say dawn starts looking like those 90s video camera. It will be better to use during the day. When wearing this device make sure you secure it properly. I would say that to make sure you press and seal the clamp well before you put this on a bike or into the water. It has a lanyard so you could wear this if you wanted to. I do feel for the best result is to put this onto your helmet as lanyards tends to turn around and get tangled. The case is water proof. It has several buttons on the outside as well that line up to your camera so you can be sure to have full access to the camera. The case is a bit easy to scratch up but it is pretty protective. The inside options are pretty kid friendly. It comes with different filters as well as some games to keep entertainment going. It comes with a 32 GB micro SD card which can hold several hours worth of video. I did do a test to verify the memory card memory and it is the correct memory. I am unsure who the manufacturer is for this. This thing can go under water about 30meters. It is definitely great for those pool parties or beach days. The sand does tend to stick to the buttons on the case due to being silicone but easy to just wash those off. The microphone is pretty good. You get clear voices but you also get some ambient noise during action shots. It is to be expected. The pink color is pretty bright. I would say it is definitely lighter than what is shown in the picture. It utilizes a micro USB cable to charge the device as well as transfer the video and pictures into your computer. I would recommend getting a card reader to make transfer faster. It does take time to transfer a full memory card if you are using micro USB. It comes with all the attachments needed but installation for the device varies depending on where you want to put them. It gives you the basics to install without needing to drill and such. It runs on a 1000 mAh battery that you need to install once you get it. The charging time varies between two to three hours. I usually just let it charge overnight. After running it a few times to calibrate the battery, it stays on for about four hours with turning the device on and off. I never had a chance to run it continuously. It can continue to work with an external battery plugged into it if you have that but you will not be able to have the protective case on it. The carrying case is what wowed me a bit. I was surprised it gave you such a strong carrying case. You can put all your accessories and tools without worrying about it getting crushed in your bag and such. Overall I think this is a pretty good camera. It is kid friendly, allows you some cool action shots, and is something you do not have to worry about a kid dropping here and there. The video quality is pretty decent with the right lighting. You also get funny pictures with filters that you can use on the camera itself giving your kids a fun creative time.

Great first camera
My 3 year old loves my go pro and taking pictures with my phone but he is three and he ultimately broke both of our phones during our last Caribbean trip. We have another trip coming up and I decided to surprise him with these.-Child friendly: The buttons made it really easy for me to explain to him how to use it "Press the circle for pictures/Press the moon to take pictures/etc." The images in the menu are self explanatory and he figured it out right away except for the microphone option, which me and him both thought it was Karaoke lol It is just for voice recording with a pretty background. It has about 4 games which he liked a lot but I fear he will use it to play and not to actually take pictures. I wish there was a way to disable this.-Languages: It has a variety of languages to choose from.-Case: We did use it during bath time and it survived! After reading some of the reviews I did go ahead and buy the protection plan for a couple dollars. The case is water proof but it is very thin and if he drops it often (like he usually does with everything) I do fear it will crack and leak.-Neck string: Helped keep it from being tossed around and dropped and it is soft.Suggestions:-Image quality: it says 1080 but it does not look it honestly. Not that he can tell. We did not get this camera to get awesome National Geographic pictures, just to continue his interest in photography without breaking our expensive cameras.-Screen: So this was annoying. He kept telling me he couldn't see and it is because at certain angles the screen glares really bag and you cannot see anything.-Case: This is my second one. The first one came with a broken case. I do think the case is important since it has so many accessories. The exchange was easy though.Overall, I really recommend it to any young kids interested in the gopro experience without the gopro price. For me, if it does break I wont' be upset since it was $40 but I hope it can last me more than a couple trips. Just in case I recommend the protection plan since the actual waterproof case seems thin and prone to cracks.**After the broken case, the seller sent me a new and non defective camera in two days. Super easy return.

Great Products for Kids
Bought this for my 9 YO niece and she's obsessed!Pros:- Good quality hardware, no worry of kids destroying the camera if they accidentally drop it- A little case that fits everything in it and allows kids to travel compactly with it- Nice mounting feature that allows kids to use the camera like a Go-Pro (my niece has hers currently mounted her to bicycle helmet and loves the videos she takes on her rides)- Connects with any computer for easy file download (vs. having to remove the SD card, which comes with the set btw)- Great price for a kid's cameraCons:- Quality of the pictures isn't great, but given the price, you get what you pay for. One thing to note is that you really need a steady hand, good lighting, and a non-moving object in order to get a decent shot.- Quality of video isn't great either- No zoom (for some reason this is something that bugs my niece!)Overall, this is a very decent camera for kids to play with. While it doesn't take the best quality pictures/videos, it is perfect for kids as a starter camera/Go-Pro and has already brought hours of joy and entertainment to my niece. I highly recommend the product.
