The wood grain is really something else
Front, back and sides are just like the photos. What ISN'T like the photos is the fretboard. It's described as "rosewood" and is pictured as something distinctly rosewood-ish. However, in real life it's something much lighter-colored - very close in color to the rest of the wood of the instrument. Since the fretboard was bone-dry, I put on a little boiled linseed oil. That darkened it up quite a bit.The strings are fine ("D", the lowest string, is wound; the others are normal plastic uke strings). They go out of tune but no quicker than any other new strings I've used. Intonation is very good. The action is slightly high (which is better than being slightly low), but not high enough to be a problem so I left it where it is. The body is all laminate (or plywood, if you prefer). Front and back are faced in bookmatched veneer. The sides are bookmatched too; mirror image right and left. I've never before seen this sort of chatoyance in mahogany; very striking. The wood binding strips are nice; I like them better than the more usual strip of white plastic. I saw no need to fiddle around with the adjustable truss rod. The abalone inlay around the sound hole is pretty spiffy; if it's fake, it's a damn good fake. The tuners are generic sealed units and work well. Overall finish is a dull satin which still feels like wood; a very appropriate finish for ukes.I have reservations about baritones; their deeper, more sonorous tones are more like guitars than the plunkety noises I like to hear from ukuleles. Still, this instrument is pretty nice. And the price is extremely aggressive. Even if you really don't like baritones, I recommend you buy it, hang it on the wall, and just admire the wood.

Color is different then the photo portrays it
The color was not like it is presented in the picture. More matte tone and slightly darker. Sound is not too bad, but is a very delicate Uke. My daughter was still very happy about.

good value
I would give it a 3 and a 1/2 if that was an option and for the price I l would still recommend. Unfortunately, the strings are squishy and buzz. I am hoping with some modifications it will live up to my expectations and the reviews.Revised: The more I play it the more I like it. Definitely worth the money.

Attractive and nice sounding use
What’s not to love? Beautiful wood. Sounds great and has a surprisingly good action for a less expensive Uke. Also, great service from seller.
