Geo F. Trumper Spanish Leather Soft Shaving Cream, Screw-top bowl, 200 grams

I used the tube format (good for travel) exclusively for some years until I discovered that this was available in tubs. I use aftershave MAYBE once a year (after some bloody reminder that I should have changed blades a week or three back), but when I do, I reach for Trumper's Spanish Leather; as for the Shaving Cream, every day, home or traveling. Smells great, lathers well, and does the job it's supposed to do. It does, however, perform best with a sharp razor (I'll go for months using the same Trac II on my fine but tough stubble). For me, this is an optimal product line with a most agreeable scent. I'd probably like other of Trumper's lines, too, but have no other reason to move on from Spanish Leather.

Trumper makes great shaving cream. The hard shave soap is total garbage but the creams are excellent.

There's something about these GFT shaving creams ust always give me the best, most comfortable shaves.Spanish leather is a very similar scent to Stetson and Avon's Black Suede.

Love the scent...there just should be MORE OF IT in the container (which came half empty).

Very manly smelling! My second favorite shaving cream after GFT’s Coconut Oil shaving cream. Ladies tend to linger around this one. These tubs seem to last me 3-6 months.

a great leather and a wonderful scent for the heat of summer

Was unsure when ordering. First time brand user. Enjoying so far very pleased.

I have used and continue to use Geo. F. Trumper shaving cream. It is just the best. But this particular fragrance, Spanish Leather, is simply too much. It is overpowering. It overpowers my aftershave balm and my cologne. At the end of the day, I'm still smelling this fragrance. I love the Coconut and the Limes fragrances. They are wonderful for the morning shave, but they don't overpower my cologne. So, I've given this Spanish Leather product two stars for it's overwhelming fragrance, while I would give the shaving cream in some of its other fragrances a definite five stars.

There's nothing to touch this and I wouldn't use any other cream. Whilst it may seem expensive it isn't in the long term because you only need a small pea sized amount on the brush per shave. One pot lasts 2 months if I shave daily, 3-4 if I leave a day between shaves.I've always used Spanish Leather cream because I wear the matching cologne, but I'm sure Trumper's other shave creams are as good.
