had to watch video on youtube to understand rubber plate etc, but, once understood, fantastic tool!

i used this product in my crafting and found it easy to use excellent product

Works well as it should

This is my first venture into gel plates and after watching videos online I am gradually getting to grips with it. I find the plate an ideal size for the items I wish to make and the results have been good. I have used inks on my plates and find they give a nice effect when used with a brayer. As a first go using this media I am pleased with the results and the price as some of the other makes of plate are expensive just to try out a technique, this one is ideal for those wanting to dip their tow in the art of gel plates.

Goods as described and very prompt delivery

Quite honestly if I could leave zero stars for this I would. When it arrived yesterday I unpacked it and gave it a try immediately. I found getting the right amount of paint difficult but presumed that was just me because I hadn’t tried a gel pad previously. Then, when I was managing to make better looking pulls , I kept spotting circles in the paint. Initially I thought that again, this was because of me but when I held the pad up to the light I saw all of the circles on my paper in the pad itself. There was no way to stop this from happening. I then came on to amazon and asked to return the pad because it’s defective (big thanks to the seller, no issues with the return at all which I greatly appreciate)I then ordered a gel pad original because I didn’t want to risk the same thing happening again. It arrived today and I’ve had a go of that one and really, it’s like night to day. No problem getting the paint to work, stencils to work and just generally this one is lots of fun to use!If you’d like to try a gel pad don’t waste your time with this one, thicker ones are the way forward.

I spent all morning trying to remove the plastic film from the plate but it won’t budge. I soaked it in warm water as suggested on the packaging but it didn’t help at all. Must have a faulty one. Fortunately the seller has offered to refund me for the item. Can’t get better service than that.

Very thin and not as expected, I found it difficult to use and returned to buy one with a more usual depth
