I had a "name brand" massager that finally was dying. I looked at new models from this brand along with various other brands. After much consideration I purchased this massager. I am totally thrilled I made the choice of this one. I know it sounds strange but the massage / vibrations from this one feel very smooth and pleasant. It is delightful to use. It does the job helping my muscles way better than my old one. Don't hesitate to purchase and use this massager!

Let's say I've had many many massagers thru out my yrs and wasn't sure about this brand. My calfskin knees and sciatica was killing me and knee calf swollen and couldn't bend my knee cap. This iscthe absolute best massager I've ever tryed! I've gad thise gun types that kill more then help but this is just the right amount of everything.3 different attachments..not to keen on the one for head. Love the slide speed whichbis easy-to-use just slide while using it. It absolutely helped with the pain and swelling.Do not hesitate to buy this.The only con if I call it that is ..its alittle top heavy and while using it you can accidentlybhit off on button or the slide speed but who cares this is amazing and better then any popular name brand.If I could give it 10 stars I would. Not sure how long it may last but I would buy another if it died.

This is a pretty good massager. It's not as heavy [and muscle-penetrating] as the Homemedics brand, but it is worthwhile.

I had this for a few months now so I feel like it's a good time to review this. I bought this for myself to help out after working out or for those long walking around days on my feet. For comparison we have a more expensive competitor body massager product that's been on the market for a long time. The specs and characteristics between the two are different, but work very similar.First and foremost I almost wanted to return this thing when I got it. This might have been resolved by now since I bought this months ago. The spikey looking adapter I got for massaging your head has a very strong plastic chemical smell. I strongly suggest you either throw that away or let it air out over weeks like I did. Don't keep it in your home. Put it in the garage, outside or in a zip lock bag of baking soda if you plan to keep it. I wanted to try it out so I aired it out in the garage. When I eventually tested it out, it was OK. My main purpose of getting this massager wasn't for my head.Price wise I didn't want to buy another expensive massager. Something simple and had a decent amount of reviews. At the time of purchase it was a bit cheaper then others and doesn't come with a heat feature. I liked that this one came with different attachments. The main one that I keep on is the one that has the small bump in the center. It does well in focusing the pulses. In terms of weight, this unit is pretty light. It makes it easier to maneuver around and feels less clunky. That can be a negative in terms of you may not feel like it's working hard because it feels too light. Not enough weight is holding it down while its on. I say that because the expensive one that I passed on to my family member is a lot heavier and it pulses slower. This unit is lighter and pulses faster. The other thing I like about it is that it's a DC motor with variable slider speeds, not like a 1,2,3 speed where you may want a 2.5 speed but can't. I terms of effectiveness, it's pretty good. It's different, in that since the travel distance of the pulses isn't as far it feels gentle then what I'm use to even on high. Since it has a high pulses rate, I find that you just need to let it do its thing while moving it around the target area. What I do is I'll target maybe my right shoulder for a minute then I'll go to my other shoulder for a minute and go back and forth 2 or 3 times. The handle is comfortable, but slims down to a point. I feel like it should be a bit longer. I find myself holding near the cord a lot.Overall It came out to be that it is worth keeping. May not work like others on the market, but it holds it's own from the price range it's in. So far its a 3.5/5 maybe a 4/5 in the future if it doesn't break with in a year.

MG460, good features and function until it's flaws catch up. The power cord strain relief is not long enough and the power cord wires break internally. Next after 9 months to 2 years of regular use the motor coupling comes loose due to a set screw that works its self out. These issues should be addressed for future production. Both issues could be repaired if parts were available. We still use these as they are stronger and more comfortable than other makes in the price range. Lucky for me I have managed to repair my earlier units. Could not find a good company contact to report issues. I still like this model and purchased 3 more with extended warranty.
