absolutely perfect for root veggies and mushrooms. also really fond of seasoning tougher cuts of beef with it a day or two before cooking.

I originally purchased this spice mix because it contains anatto, which isn’t easy for me to buy, and the price is certainly reasonable. Some may be not so thrilled by the high MSG and salt content or the presence of FD&C yellow #5 and red #40 but that’s not an issue for me. This has become a kitchen staple for me and I highly recommend it.

Instead of me running around trying to find Sazon I was over ecstatic to try this product so now that I have tried it I understand that it is more of a color base more than a seasoning it is more MSG based I’m not for sure if I get a onion or garlic or any of those vibes of seasonings it is MSG and color based that’s about it, but does it work wonderful to enhance the flavor of food yes it does long as you’re using other seasonings and herbs and spices

No matter what you normally use to season your meats for a cook, adding this first is going to elevate your flavor profile to levels you can't imagine until you try it. It is must have seasoning for your pantry!

This seasoning is excellent for white meats such as chicken, pork, and fish. If you plan to use it at home, consider transferring it to a smaller container with a more controlled sprinkle opening. The holes in the large container are quite big, which may lead to using more than necessary and diminish the value it provides.
