Because they are natural you likely can’t get a really strong red. Use gel color instead.

You may have to feed them a lot to change the poo color. I do not have an answer as to the safety of a large dose of natural coloring in a small dog. Feeding beets or beet juice may have the affect you're after. But it would stain non porous surfaces.
