Great protection from flame!
These gloves are EXCELLENT! I recently installed a wood stove and had burned myself too many times prior to this purchase. I’ve only had them for a few days and I sure do wish I purchased sooner! I appreciate the length as they almost go to my elbow and have saved my forearms from many burns already. Great quality. Great protection. My hand has been in the fire and I haven’t felt the slightest bit of heat!

Good product
They work as advertised. Heat restitant, I've picked up hot logs and did not damage the glove .

I kept melting other gloves. I should have bought these a long time ago!
The RAPICCA Fireplace Gloves are an absolute game-changer. After melting several other pairs of gloves, I finally decided to give these a try, and I couldn't be happier. The heat resistance on these gloves is remarkable—they handle up to 932°F effortlessly, protecting my hands from burns while I manage hot logs and embers. What sets these gloves apart is not only their functionality but also their comfort. The soft inner lining makes them incredibly comfortable to wear, even for extended periods. The long cuffs offer additional protection for my forearms, which is a huge plus. Despite their robust construction, they still allow for excellent dexterity, making it easy to handle tools and tend to the fire.In short, the RAPICCA Fireplace Gloves are a must-have for anyone dealing with high-heat situations. They are reliable, high-quality, and offer the protection I've been seeking for so long. Highly recommended!

They are good, but…
I was super excited to purchase these gloves. I do a lot of high temperature baking at 500° and needed something to protect my arms. The jury is still out if I’m going to continue to use them.Pros:1) They are well-made. One finger has a little bit of wonky stitching, but it’s not an issue.2) The colors are nice. They are bold and bright enabling you to find them easily in a workshop or in my case a very busy kitchen.Cons:1) They have a super funky smell.2) When I pull my hands out of them, they feel like they’re covered in chemicals. As soon as I wash my hands, it’s fine.3) The fingertips get very hot when handling the cast-iron pans. They retain heat as well. My silicone gloves actually do a better job of dispersing the heat.

A hefty set of gloves that feels like it will last!
These gloves are awesome! They're lightweight, well constructed and, while I initially thought they were a bit pricey, having them in my hands now tells me this was a good value. Really happy with this set and it just officially replaced my beloved 12-year fire gloves for camping! The gloves came folded in a plastic bag and the smell of leather took over the moment I opened it. If you're sensitive to strong scents, open these outside and air them out a bit. It's a strong leather aroma. Like, just-walked-into-a-leather-store strong. Do with that what you will. The fingers have a reinforcing layer on the palm side of the gloves. The palm has the same reinforcing layer, although it goes all the way around the glove and that layer is also double-stitched for good measure. The thumb is reinforced on both sides. The stitching is quite nice – nice enough that they could use a bold, contrasting thread color, turning the stitching into an actual part of the design. Up close, it looks fantastic! There's even a handy loop if you like to hang your gloves. My last pair of fire gloves came in at 14" and I didn't think these, at 16", would be much of a difference. I was wrong. These gloves go more than halfway up my forearms and I'm eager to get them in front of an actual campfire cookout. Now, about the fit. I do have large hands. They're not huge, just large. So, the palm section was a good fit but the fingers were actually pretty snug. Snug enough that it was a bit of a relief to take the gloves off after a few minutes. That said, with some actual real-world use, I think they will loosen up a bit and mold perfectly around my fingers so I'm sticking with them.My very non-scientific test involved heating up a cast iron skillet on the stove for about 10 minutes and then picking it up (by the handle) to see just how long I could hold it for. The heat resistance was way better than my last gloves. I could have held that skillet until the cows came home. I think these gloves probably have a higher heat rating than my last pair.In a couple of my pics, I've flipped a glove inside out to show the sleeve and innards. I can really appreciate that they didn't go with lesser quality here just because it wouldn't necessarily be noticed by an average end-user. The inside appears solidly built. The forearm sleeve feels (and looks!) a lot like an insulated pant-leg – and it's more easily pliable than the glove body so it doesn't necessarily feel like you're wearing some kind of medieval warrior gauntlets.Anyway, if you haven't guessed by now, I'll just spell it out. These gloves are a great deal and a quality product. I would definitely recommend this set.

Exceptional Protection for High-Heat Tasks
I've been using the RAPICCA Welding Gloves for various high-heat applications, and they've proven to be outstanding. From handling hot metal during welding projects to managing my fireplace and wood stove, these gloves provide excellent heat resistance and protection. What I really appreciate about these gloves is their robust build. The leather is thick and durable, making them suitable for heavy-duty tasks. The stitching also holds up well, even after repeated exposure to high temperatures.Comfort-wise, they're quite good too. The lining is soft, which makes wearing them for extended periods more manageable. They fit well and offer a decent range of motion, which is crucial when you need both protection and dexterity. One minor issue I noticed is that they can be a bit stiff initially, but they break in after a few uses. This didn't take away from their effectiveness, but it's something to keep in mind. These gloves have become an essential part of my gear for any task involving extreme heat. Whether it's welding, working the forge, or even just tending to a fire pit, they provide the necessary protection and peace of mind.
