I picked up the Amazon Fresh Mediterranean Blend EVOO a little skeptically—I usually buy smaller artisanal brands, but the price and size (a generous 2 liters!) were too good to pass up. I’m so glad I gave it a try.Right off the bat, the aroma is fresh and fruity, with a hint of pepperiness that I always look for in a good extra virgin olive oil. The flavor is balanced and smooth—not overly bitter or grassy. I’ve used it for everything from salad dressings to sautés to roasting veggies, and it performs beautifully across the board. It even makes a surprisingly nice dip for bread when paired with balsamic and herbs.Another huge plus: the bottle is sturdy and pours easily without dripping. It also seals well, which helps keep the oil fresh longer (always a concern with large bottles). I bought this for a friend who (believe it or not) is new to the olive oil bandwagon! I can't relate to that myself but thought I would treat her to a few things from Amazon and this was one of her treats. She loved it. I was so happy that I decided it was time to get EVOO into her life. It is at a great price point, she can afford to keep herself in either the Italian (the one I purchased) or the Mediterranean blend, who knows, maybe both!

I’ve been using this olive oil for a long time and it never disappoints. The flavor is smooth and fresh with just the right touch of fruitiness. Great for salads, cooking, or dipping bread. High quality at a great price—definitely a staple in my kitchen!

This olive oil has a good smell and taste. Perhaps if you are an olive oil aficionado this won't be for you, but I have found it to be great for cooking. For the price it is hard to beat... highly recommended.

THIS ITALIAN EXTRA-IRGIN OLIVE OIL IS NOT ONLY SUPERB, IT IS THE BEST BARGAIN EVOO ON THE MARKET. NOT FROM ONE PRODUCER, BUT WHEN YOU OPEN THE BOTTLE THE FLAVOR S SO INTENSE THAT IT STOPS YOU IN DISBELIEF. GREAT AROMA, GREAT TASTE, AND GREAT PRICE.

IMO this is the best olive oil for the money. If Amazon can keep it's current price around $23, it's a no brainer. Keep in mind, olive oil needs to be used sparingly. After all, It's 100% fat.It should never be used for frying foods because of it's lower smoke point, and apparently according to Dr. Robert Lustig, when olive oil is heated it changes the monosaturated fat to trans fat.
