Yeah so I decided I needed a washboard. Why, you never know. I figured I’d just have it in case of an emergency. I decided to take it for a test run today just to test it out. Wow!! Great washboard. It is large enough that I can wash my clothing and get them clean! It was super easy. Soap the metal part of the washboard and rub your clothing up and down on it. I was surprised how easy it was to use. It was lightweight and not heavy at all. It functioned just like my granny’s and I know this will last a long time. It’s sitting in the sun drying now but in the future if I have to hand wash anything I’ll reach for this washboard. It arrived early and was packaged with care. I’m not sure about the durability because I just got it but it held up nicely while I was using it and I’m sure I’ll get many uses out of it. The only thing I worry about is making by sure it doesn’t get mold so that’s why I left it outside in the full sun to dry.

I began washing clothes in my tub again and this made it so much easier. It's lightweight but sturdy, holds my soap and helps me get the job done fast and my clothes feel cleaner. It's small enough to hang it up on my wall when not in use but big enough for me to wash pants. Definitely worth the money.

I love my old time washboard! Very sturdy and well made. It will last the rest of my life, I’m sure! If you enjoy doing things the old fashioned way, you will really appreciate this high quality product! I use Aleva Naturals bar soap with mine.

I have a van that I travel in. It's not big enough for me to put a washing machine in it, so I bought this washboard. I like it. It's sturdy and a great size - not too big and not too small. A great way to be able to wash clothes when there is no laundromat nearby or you don't want to go into town. You will be more self sufficient, even though you might not want to wash all your laundry like this forever. It's a lot better than just rubbing the fabric against itself.

It fits in my kitchen sink and i have used it a couple of times already. It easy to use and I didn't over do it on my hands and the clothes are still very clean.This is instead of a very expensive washing machine purchase so I am up $600 and China is down $600!I like that this is made in USA by hand. Keeping job here is what we need to do.It will pay for itself easily in the coming weeks. I am doing laundry just for me and this is perfect and better than rubbing the clothes by hand in the sink.A good product. I'm happy.Update.I use it to scrub stains from clothes and it really is very good. I buy the Zote laundry bar and together they get anything very clean.My husband even used it when I wasn't around and he needed something cleaned and he was more than impressed too.We re 3 months into using this as well as the breathing mobile hand washer, and we are not even worried about buying a washing machine. We have everything covered with these two items.

I used this primarily as an instrument and for that it was louder than I'd expected. I had to switch from thimbles to spoons to not drown out the rest of the group.We repainted the front design and stained the wood before finishing with a clear coat of epoxy. I'm very pleased with how the washboard held up over a season of use.I also used it to wash clothes by the river and for that it works very well, getting out some stains that had previously been persistent, even when using essentially no soap.

I bought this for back up since electricity often goes out in my area. In the meantime it serves as decoration in my laundry room. It arrived as advertised and seems to be of good quality. It's also cute enough to use as decor. I wanted to try it out so I used it to wash a shirt I haven't been able to get a stain out of in the regular wash. I used Fels Naptha to prep the wash surface of the board and scrubbed the shirt for a couple of minutes and the stain came right out. Not something I'll use every day but good to know it'll effectively wash clothes when I do need to use it.

Works great
