great for a trainer
I have a dumb trainer and bought these to track my biking. I have enjoyed their features and definetly raccomend. I have a Garmin 255 they work with. One down side, when I walk my bike it tracks the work out, so I end up having to delete those.

Works with Instinct v1
WORKS WITH INSTINCT v1. I've seen reviews stating that the cadence sensor does not work with the Instinct but that is not true if your system is up-to-date. I have no issues linking these sensors to my old Instinct version one. I can easily view my data on Stava and the Garmin app after a ride.Only note is that due to the size of the cadence sensor I cannot place it as close to my pedal as I'd like. The sensor bumps my State Ti All Road frame when mounted towards the pedal on my Easton EC90 1X crankset. I just mounted closer to the BB spindle instead. The cadence sensor battery case came unlatched when I was sliding it up and down my crankset to find the perfect mounting point... This caused it not to power on. Once I sorted that out I had no issues.

Easy to Install
The speed and cadence sensors were easy to install and work great with the garmin 540. They fit securely on my trek domane. I will add them to my other bikes.
