Super Sturdy / same as Greenhouse Growers Use.
these are awesome, hard to fill as you would imagine, without a professional Seed machine, but i knew it would be tedious going in.i have always wanted these trays, since i spotted them at a Plant Nursery in a greenhouse all the way in the back. now i have them.

Easy to sow many seeds in spring
Allows one to plant many seeds in spring without need to separate tiny seedlings when they sprout

Didn't work for me
I bought these trays to start individual small seeds. I thought giving each seed their own space would cause less transplant shock than trying to separate the seedlings when you have several in one cell.-first problem was it was hard to fill the cells with the seed starter mix-second was watering was hard since cells were so full not room in the top for the water to sit and percolate-third and biggest problem was it was almost impossible to remove the seedlings. The tray is so sturdy that the usual method of pushing up in the bottom of the cell to pop them out didn't work. I needed a plastic knife to dig them out.I will not be using these again expensive gardening fail.

Almost, but not quite!
Doesn't really fit a 1020 tray. It will fit inside, but will not touch the bottom and just hangs with the middle sagging. I bottom water and would need to fill the tray over half full to reach the bottom and then the cells in the middle are soaked and the outer cells barely get any water. I had to cut a half inch off the top of my trays and then it fits.

Great with limitations
I love this seed tray. Holes on the bottom are great for poking the seedlings out from the bottom. These do not however fit in a standard 1020 tray correctly. I am having to top water as a result with no drain tray. Just beware so you know what to expect.

Perfect for limited spaces for germination.
The sturdiness makes them reusable and hopefully for many seasons!

Don’t buy this
Where to start? The tray doesn’t fit in a 1020 tray. It’s made of brittle plastic- you cannot remove seedlings easily. The seller refuses to allow me to return the item for a refund.

It's a plug tray.. Know what you're getting.
This tray isn't your standard seedling tray and it will not rest on top of the rim of a 1020 tray. This is best when used with polymer plugs because this tray sits down inside the 1020 tray so you only need about a half inch of water to keep the plugs moist.
