Great on the palate, stomach and pleasing to the senses. Hard Candy with a soft texture. Not gummy but a little soft which is perfect to my needs for a black licorice flavor. Has Molasses as a flavor ingredient which is why I like it so much. Not too sweet, puckery or poignant yet very well balanced. Doesn't gag your throat/tongue. I have 1 or 2 a night and find it relaxing to enjoy

This size is very cosr effective. This is the best Chalk I've tasted.

Unique flavor. Reminds me very much of good and plenty. Slightly less sweet (a good thing). A very tad hint of mint.....like a tad! Barely taste the mint. Good licorice kick. I'll be a repeat buyer.

I prefer Dutch salt licorice to soft, sweet licorice. I have tried every brand available on Amazon. All have ammonium chloride and all are 100 calories for 8 pieces. Yet, the sweetness and texture varies between all of them. Venco is the firmest and has a slick surface. You can suck on it or chew it. I like that it doesn’t stick to your teeth. It has a milder flavor than other brands and is not as sweet as some others. I tend to mix it up, but I always have Venco on hand.

The flavor is alright, with mint and licorice as advertised, but with a distinct coconut taste that wasn't. The exterior wasn't as hard as I had expected, and the interior is soft and chewy. My friends and family liked this product quite a lot, while I have mixed opinions. A good deal, but not my taste.

What I hoped they would be. Real, hard, salted licorice. I would like them with a little more salt, but close to what I enjoyed as a kid.
