I love Augason Farms products, fresh and made in the USA. Product arrived in pristine condition, no dents or damage. I'm putting it in my stash, not opening it but the can feels full. These vegetables are a great option to make stews or soups, and add both flavor and nutritional value to rice, noodles and the like. Sprinkle on foraged greens or boil with shrimp, crabs, or shellfish. In an emergency you can never know what will be available long term so a can of vegetables like this would be very useful. In a pinch can make a nutritious soup with just it with some water. I like the #10 cans because the can itself is useful. Can use for storage, a planter, a strainer, a water filtering device, or even make a little "hobo stove" from it. Comes with a lid so you can reseal the remainder or whatever you want to store in the empty can. Foraged and scavenged food can be rather bland and random, this gives you an option to make a healthy, tasty meal with almost anything. Reconstitute and spread on bread with black pepper or put in a tortilla with a little chile or hot sauce and beans for a filling veggie lunch. I will continue adding to my stash using Augasons and other products. In today's world, it doesn't hurt to be prepared. Probably getting corn next - who doesn't like corn? :)

You can't go wrong with this brand. I love that I know that no matter what I buy from them that it will be a quality product and packaged for longevity. Having a well prepared pantry is important to me and this is my go-to brand at a reasonable price.I love that I can buy this in bulk and leave it knowing that it is packaged to last.Yes, this is easy to use. You won't have to do any kitchen magic to make this a useable product. Just follow the directions on the can and you are off.You get a lot of product for the price. Don't let the weight of the can fool you.I like that this is not a chemical nightmare.I try to have item on hand for in the event of an emergency. I look for items that are packaged well, travel well, don't require a lot of additional ingredients, are flexible for how they are used, and will act as comfort food. This fits the bill.I love that there are as many ways to use this product as you can dream up. It is a good way to make make a meal out of this and that.

Good - Nice mix, reasonable taste for what it is. You should add some seasoning if you can, but its just plain on its own so its still perfectly edible. Its worth noting that you don't actually have to fully cook it as the vegetables become tender enough with only a couple minutes in hot water (though if you do it that way it won't fully expand; if you want it as proper vegetable soup cook for the full time). Seal was good, didn't test the durability of the can as I got it as a pantry staple rather than a prepper food but I can't imagine it would have any issues if you just set it on a shelf and left it alone.Neutral - I've seen various complaints online that indicates the mix was focused; I'm fine with what I got, but I think they adjusted the ratios over time. And since it doesn't tell the exact ratio you can't really know exactly what you're getting. Understandable that they adjusted the ratio over time, but I do think an approximate disclosure would be nice.Bad - For some reason the actual instructions were removed but I was able to find some online; 1/4th cup of mix to 1 cup of water, bring to a slight boil, simmer for 10 minutes.Overall - Product 5/5 for the price; you'll probably need to pay a lot to get something better and if you're buying a large can of dehydrated vegetable medley you're probably not into that. 1 star off for not having even a basic ratio of mix to water listed.

Very interesting concoction of vegetables for long-term storage. However, I broke into my first scan and I have ordered two more since then. I put some into smaller serving container so that I could use them along with other spices. Highly recommended and also very tasty and delicious delicious

My favorite use of this dried veggie mix is adding it to sprit peas of lentles for soup. Yummy.
