Really good and cheaper than that amt of fresh veggies
Fresh veg are really expensive and good bad quick. This is like 2 months of daily veg sor a single person. For 20 bucks?! Not badAnd it's delicious when dehydrated. I love all the cabbage too!! I rehydrate for soups and stuff but also for salads!

Excellent
I love Augason Farms products, fresh and made in the USA. Product arrived in pristine condition, no dents or damage. I'm putting it in my stash, not opening it but the can feels full. These vegetables are a great option to make stews or soups, and add both flavor and nutritional value to rice, noodles and the like. Sprinkle on foraged greens or boil with shrimp, crabs, or shellfish. In an emergency you can never know what will be available long term so a can of vegetables like this would be very useful. In a pinch can make a nutritious soup with just it with some water. I like the #10 cans because the can itself is useful. Can use for storage, a planter, a strainer, a water filtering device, or even make a little "hobo stove" from it. Comes with a lid so you can reseal the remainder or whatever you want to store in the empty can. Foraged and scavenged food can be rather bland and random, this gives you an option to make a healthy, tasty meal with almost anything. Reconstitute and spread on bread with black pepper or put in a tortilla with a little chile or hot sauce and beans for a filling veggie lunch. I will continue adding to my stash using Augasons and other products. In today's world, it doesn't hurt to be prepared. Probably getting corn next - who doesn't like corn? :)

Nice addition to soups and stews, great for camping
Great to have on hand, especially since they keep well & are ebt acceptable online. We do a lot of camping and I wanted these to add to meals with less weight or risk of going bad. I also like keeping produce on hand but sometimes we dont use it up in time, so having the dried veggies is a life saver when life gets busy. Good way to finish up a lacking meal. Extra vitamins added to our meals plus makes my soups and stews more appealing to consume! Love a quick meal that has added nutrition that everyone devours!

Strong onion flavor
Really easy to use - way too many onions, but still usable. Good in rice and as a mix for other dishes. Rehydrates to over double the volume.

Impressed with Flavor, Easy to Use
We opened a can to try it and we're impressed. I tried soaking overnight as well to see how it would perform and it's excellent; cuts down on cook time. Delicious sauteed and added to an omelet. Don't know that we could buy the ingredients, prep, and seal for the 21 bucks it's currently on special for. The labor alone would get you. We've ordered more and will add to our regular use. Read a post complaining about the amount of cabbage and thought, "I'll take 3" but when we used it, the amount of cabbage is quite moderate. In fact, more would be good.

Cheater chops
Veggie mix came in good condition. 2# .5 oz in a #10 can. It feels pretty full. I got this for those times when you want to make veggie soup and casseroles, but don't have the veggies and don't want to go to the grocery store. So...yes, it's lazy cooking BUT it's also quick and saves me alot of time!! And who of us doesn't deserve that?! This is a blend of dehydrated potatoes, cabbage, onion, carrots, celery, red and green bell peppers. I normally don't put bell peppers in my veggie soup, but since it is the last ingredient listed, I doubt there is an overabundance of them in there. No worries! It's no fat, low salt, low carbs and low calories so it is nutritious (well yes, it IS real veggies..)There is even a recipe for stew on the can! Looks like it rehydrates quickly as well! 30 or so minutes! It has a plastic resealable lid and is well within a good expiry date being 2028. I am pleased (and relieved) with this choice. When I open it, I will try to remember to update with a picture of the veggie mix itself. I don't want to expose the mix to air before I am ready to use. Soup in 90°+ weather isn't what my body calls for. I encourage you to join me in some lazy cooking! We will probably never have a TV show doing that, but at least I would know I'm not the only one doing that!
