Nice weight and clear view of contents
These bags heat seal nicely and the clear plastic is truly clear. They are a good weight for short-term storage, but I would hesitate to use them for long-term storage because plastic tends to allow gas diffusion over time. They are great for packing up dried fruits and nuts for quick grab and go snacks and for using in recipes. They easily hold 1/2 cup of dried cherries, cranberries, blueberries, apricots, or freeze dried peaches, as the picture shows. They are easy to open and the zip seals firmly. There is adequate room for heat sealing at the top of the bag above the zip seal. I believe you could cut the seal and still be able to reuse the bag as a zip-lock. A good value for a decent product.
