Good Saddles
My criminally neglected AmStrat was in bad shape, the fretboard was covered in gunk and rust. Saddles had to be replaced because screws had rusted into them. I cleaned it with mineral oil and Simichrome, finished the fretboard with a few coats of TruOil, and replaced the pickguard, buttons, knobs, and pickup covers. The Graph Tech saddles installed easily, have nice intonation, and sound good. Guitar is restored, plays slick as a whistle, and I highly recommend all the products mentioned in this review.

Great for Eliminating String Breakage
The graph tech string saver could eliminate all possibilities for string breakage due to cheap or poor saddles. They also seem to provide a smoother full sound, accentuating the upper mids.Definitely check these out if this what you are looking for in your guitar. I haven’t broken a string yet,

Good replacement. Probably only worth it if you get the Graph Tech nut too.
Got these because they match the black hardware on the rest of the guitar, but also for the self-lubricating material. The material does seem to need to be lightly filed down once in a while in the nut slots (or in this case, the saddle string slots) because the would strings seem to create an impression on the material, which can reduce stability. That's fine with me, takes just a minute when I do my strings every week. Normally that would turn me off of this kind of product, but I'm pretty convinced that the self-lubricating material works really well (if you have the nut, AND saddles) and helps to reduce binding-areas across the entire length of the string, greatly increasing stability, and reducing how often you have to tune. (OBVIOUS NOTE: If you get the nut too, make SURE you cut your nut slots well, and for the gauge strings you're using or it will bind up. Took it to a music store to have one of these nuts installed and he screwed up the nut slots. Did the next one at home myself and it's perfect.)P.S. Make sure you have offset saddle screws before you buy this. Some strats have screws that go directly down the middle of the saddle.

One of the threads/screws got wedged into the saddle ...
I wanted to love these saddles. They were recommended to me on a Facebook page for Aria Pro 2 fans as a great replacement for the Cardinal series saddles on Aria Pro 2 guitars of a certain vintage. Well, they are not so great, after all. I used the tiny Allen key to try to turn one of the threads through -- as I had done successfully on two of the saddles -- but on the third (for the D string), it got wedged and I was unable to un-wedge it. The thread got stripped in the process and then I tried repeatedly -- to no avail -- to un-screw it with a needle-nose and standard pliers. Nada. No good. Not so great. Just a nearly tweaked finger and a frustrating hour of my life I will not get back.I'm sure many will have a fine experience with these; especially, if they are using on a Fender Strat or similar guitar. But buyer beware if you are planning to use these on a Cardinal Series Aria Pro 2!

Comfortable and Easy to install
This is my 4th set of GraphTech String Saver saddles, so I am very happy with them. They are very easy to install and setup, sound great to my ears, and they are very comfortable on the heal of my hand. They are resistant to sweat and skin oil, and they are very slippery. I don't see them wearing out in the next century.
