Red HeartSuper Saver Yarn, Print-Monet

Red Heart is not known for soft yarn, in particular if you are buying any of the Super Savers. This yarn is not soft. However, the color ranges you can get are incredible and it's wonderful for structured projects like hats, toys, etc. It's a favorite of mine for the witch hats I make because it holds it's shape so wonderfully.This particular yarn is basically variegated so the colors change quite literally every stitch. But if you pair it with a solid color, like black, it looks lovely like stained glass. I have bought a ton of this color and I rarely encounter knots or problems, and Red Heart Typically makes very tiny knots I only have to trim it up a little if at all. Very happy with it.

I use Red Heart yarn quite a bit and do like their products. I could not locate this particular color at the place I normally buy my yarn, so I was happy to find it on Amazon, which allowed me to finish the item I was working on.

I use red heart yarn a lot Its always consistent in quality and price. This color is my absolute favorite! I used it on a mermaid blanket for my granddaughters, and bought more to make one I'm keeping just for me. I would always recommend redheart and the colors in the Monet yarn blew me away!

great general purpose yarn. Good to make stuff for kids cause it washes like iron. Use fabric softener. Brought it at Walmart for 2.77 us dollars!

A friend of mine is having a little boy so I crocheted her a ripple baby afghan using Monet, and a shade of mint green, light blue, and lavendar.Red Heart has always been a favorite yarn for many years, but can be a bit scratchy and abrasive due to its all acrylic content. It is a good alternative for those allergic to wool. It is machine washable and dryable, and holds its shape well. It's a more inexpensive yarn than most, so it is a good yarn for beginning knitters and crocheters to start with if they want to build a stash on a budget. I ordered this particular skein online because it was cheaper than Walmart.com's price, and the local craft stores were out of this particular color combination.

Made my bestie a cat blanket using this as the pop of color and it really pulled the blanket together. I also made my daughter a hat and she also loved the colors.

The colours on this are a little brighter than shows on my screen. It made for a fun little toque for a friend.

I have always wanted to try Red Hearts super saver yarn ever since watching youtube videos for knitting and crochet.This was my first one and I love it!!It is Worsted weight, number 4 yarn which for us British is similar to an Aran weight yarn and knits up perfectly to Aran patterns. The first thing I made was a hat for myself and one for my daughter and they turned out gorgeous, they are lovely and warm also soft too.The colours in this print are lovely and the photo does not do it justice.It knits up beautifully and is nice to knit with. I have heard from other reviewers that it is a rather rough yarn best suited for blankets and such but I find it quite soft. I also understand that if it is washed and tumble dried it gets even softer but looses its shape over time so I shall see how my hats fair, I will keep you posted.A lovely yarn in a nice big ball (144g, 5oz ball) slightly smaller than the plain colours as they are 7oz balls but in 2 balls I had enough to make 2 bobble hats 3 pompoms (one went wrong so had to remake it) and a pair of gloves.Have ordered more to make a scarf.

Love the colours in this yarn! It can be used with a variety of solid colours. It is also easy to work with for crocheting.

Very good quality wool. I like these colours but there are more to choose from. I shall be buying some more in future. Great service from Supermart USA. I used to buy this when I loved in Canada too.
