Heavy duty
Got this snatch block for some tree work. It is very well built and not failed me yet.Definitely suggest if you need a snatch block.

5/8" steel cable fits
I have a 20,000lb rated hydraulic winch with 5/8" aircraft cable. The cable fit, and even with quite a lot of pulling effort the snatch blocks haven't broken yet....

Heavy Duty!!
Very robust, appears to be well made. Haven't put it through it's paces yet on a recovery, but I think it will do just fine.

Very well made but it is smaller than anticipated
Very well manufactured pulley block that will undoubtably provide exceptional service. The only area of concern is the size of the connection opening might limit your ability to fully utilize the full the strength of the snatch block. I haven't measured the radius of the connection but I can see that it is less than 1 inch which will constrain the shackle that can be used with it. I would recommend this pulley block without hesitation.

This Gear America Ultra Snatch block is a solid piece of equipment! It is certainly among the best aluminum snatch blocks on the market. I bought one to examine before getting more. I had a slight issue with one, and their customer support is exceptional. You can't get better than an American Company that stands behind their products.Now I need to get another tree save strap. LOL it never ends. My Dad always said when it comes to tools, buy the best quality you can afford. Others say it another way... Buy once, cry once.

Seems robust
Haven’t used hit have no doubt it’s robust. I like its smaller foot print compared to some other brands. Takes less trunk space. Pricey compared to some local HF tool retailers that sell for 25% the cost. Not sure the value is 75% better but definitely is nicer appearance.
