Works well in sprayer

The kit screwed on in place of the two-piece nozzle of my old (1990s) sprayer. I love the filter! It's hard to keep debris out of the tank of that old sprayer.I prefer my new Chapin sprayer, a 20000. It's the kind where the base of the nozzle is part of the molded polyethylene wand. This kit won't screw on there, but it could be used without the wand.That's disappointing. If the kit included an adapter, I could use it with the poly wand of my new sprayer.I washed my car and rinsed it with the yellow fan nozzle. On a large horizontal surface like the roof and the hood, the trick is to use the spray like a push broom, sweeping a wave of dirty water off the surface. I used 3 quarts, so rinsing took only 90 seconds. Considering the time it would have taken to get out a hose and put it away, I came out ahead. I stayed completely dry, and there was very little water on the ground to produce mud or ice.On another occasion, I let a four-year-old wash my car with a soapy solution in one pump-up sprayer and the rinse water in the sprayer with the flat nozzle. I gave her a cloth, a brush, and a step stool. She enjoyed it so much that she washed her mother's car, too. Nobody got wet, and there was no mud to track indoors.

Didn't fit my sprayer even though I entered the exact product number. When returning was told to contact Chapin support directly for refund and they were very rude and dismissive and kept blaming Amazon, but it was sold by Chapin on their Amazon store page. They even gave me the exact part number I needed for my exact sprayer and the same wrong nozzles popped up. The customer support was the worst! Wish I could give -5 stars. All I want is a fancy nozzle for spraying!

I ended up returning everything and purchasing a sprayer through Amazon which did what I needed.

This was the upgrade to my 1gal Chapin I needed. A bit tricky to remove the old nozzle (had to pry it off by putting a paper clip through the hold and using the clip as a handle to pry off the nozzle tip). Once the new tip was on it’s easy to swap out the different colored tips for different flow rates. Love the fan spray over the old cone one the came with it.
