I liked that these wash better than your average dish sponge. Pretty expensive for one sponge.

I used these Dobie pads years ago but I haven't been able to find them in my local stores now. The mesh is firm and doesn't go soft in hot water. They're great for all scrubbing that you do in the kitchen sink! They are very easily rinsed out and I soak them in non chlorine bleach every now and again so they don't ever get smelly or gooey. One will last you for many months.I recommend them to everyone looking for a good efficient kitchen scrubber.

I had never heard of Dobie pads before, but I was desperate to clean up some stainless steel pots and pans that were thoroughly scrub-resistant to everything else. I bought a Dobie pad and some Bar Keepers Friend. Not only did this combination work to get out marks that I thought were permanently set into my pots and pans (seriously, 2+ years in some cases), but worked without damaging the pots.Emboldened by my new discovery, I decided to try the pads on my stovetop. My husband is allergic to wiping down the stove after he uses it, even if things splatter, so it left me trying to clean up some serious grime. Again, I sprinkled some cleaner on the stovetop, removed the burners, and started out rubbing with the Dobie. Again, it helped to lift off some serious crud. But in this case, with a surface more delicate to scratching than pots and pans, it still was gentle enough to not scratch the surface.The Dobie has been a game changer for my cleaning needs and I'd highly recommend to anyone!

These last several months. I like that food doesn't get stuck in them. However, using it to scrub out heavy grease is not recommended. It will stain the cover and not come out.

I had initially bought a 3 pack box of these from drugstore.com. I like that the covering is much harder and lasts longer than the pads I had been buying locally. I have never seen these in the stores around me.I needed a filler to get to the $25 super saver shipping minimum and bought this box for the same $3 price I paid on drugstore. I was very surprised when a box with only 1 pad showed up in my shipment. When I went back to amazon's listing, sure enough it was for only 1 pad. I had assumed they were selling the same 3 pad box for the same price I had paid on drugstore. I learned to read the listing carefully and not assume they're selling the same thing.

These sponges are great and work well. They don't tend to get a foul odor if you have a sponge rack to put it on to dry out in between uses. Just be sure to soak any really hard stuck on messes so as not to tear up the mesh on the sponge. Couldn't find this sponge in stores so I had to order from Amazon and the price was fair for the product.
