Short but sweet
It's short only 20 mins , but I'm such a big fan this didnt effect my enjoyment of it. I loved seeing Toothless baby dragons, and Hiccups children. Probably only worth it if you're a big fan but it's still enjoyable

Adorable but short
I was excited to see that DW were predicting another HTTYD short film but at 20 minutes I think it's just too short. I enjoyed what was shown and I loved the story and how they tied it into the end of the final film. The animation was spot on as you'd expect with the voice cast from the films returning for this special holiday edition. The DVD has a few extra's thrown in but once watched thats that really. It's nice to see the behind the scenes of how they make these animations but it isnt something we've never seen before.Overall an nice little animation short but ultimately I think only die hard fans would simple HAVE to have this in their collection.

How to Train your Dragon: Homecoming
I have really enjoyed the How to Train Your Dragon series, and this is a nice little end piece following the final main film. Its only short, but super to see the Nightlights (offspring of Toothless and his Light Fury mate), and the animation is up to its usual high standard.

Sweet, relaxing, funny and long enough for the money
A lovely send off for the series. A lot of laughs were had thanks, as always, to the over the top characters. It's a good 20 minutes long so price-wise was fairly satisfied, some shorts cost the same for less than half the time.

Only 20 minutes but it does drag-on. Hahaha.... ha...
Before you read this, bear in mind it's the thoughts of a 39 year old man...I love the How to train Your Dragon franchise, the three films are some of my favourite of all time and Toothless is one of the best creature creations in movie history in my opinion. Ferocious yet adorable, often at the same time. I've watch all the the TV series episodes on DVD, and later, Netflix and this Homecoming film... well it was largely pointless.*spoilers ahead*Homecoming is set before the final reunion scene in The Hidden World which meant the writers didn't have much to play with, plot-wise. All of the characters seem to have lost a few brain cells during the transition meaning they all come across a little dumb and everything is played for laughs (even Stoick's death).A play is put on to teach the children of new Berk the importance of dragons and Stoick himself but the storyline minimalises Hiccup's part in it all and claims Stoick 'domesticated' them. This achieves their goal but I didn't like how history was re-written for its sake, especially when Stoick had many more reasons to be remembered and admired. Hiccup doesn't even seem to care that no-one knows about his Dad despite only being alive thanks to his sacrifice in 'Dragon 2.It was nice to see Toothless again. Really I can't get enough of the Night Fury but he was more like a henpecked husband and father in this rather than the powerful free spirit we see him as in the films. And anyone looking forward to a Toothless/Hiccup reunion will be disappointed as this only sets up their get-together at the end of The Hidden World. The acting was... fine, though it seemed that Jay Baruchel and America Ferrera were phoning in their performances as they sounded so different that I had to check the credits for their names. The animation is impressive for a short film - not up to the movie's splendour but definitely a step up from the TV series.I've really put too much thought into a 20 minute animated short film now I read it back. Too late now, the thoughts have been made! So, I know I'm not the target audience and kids are probably going to love this for the goofy goings on and cute baby dragons but I'll stick to the films - I prefer my Dragons with a little more bite.
