Team Defender Youth Pro Series Thumb Guard Protective

My son has been catching for years and now as he gets older and pitchers are throwing more pitches and harder he was struggling with as he called jamming his thumb. This was recommended to him and has been an absolute life saver. He (who is not organized) makes sure he has this at all times when he may potentially catch. He was excited when asked to catch 16 year olds (he is only 12) the other night at practice and he jumped at the opportunity where a few months ago he was getting to a point at not wanting to catch anymore just for the fact that his thumb was always hurting. He is buying himself a spare for that just in case factor and his passion for catching is back. Sounds silly over a protective guard but it is honestly the best purchase we have made in a long time!
