As fast as it claims! 280 MB/s write and 300 MB/s read
I bought this to speed up working with Linux disk images, where I spend quite a lot of time writing out full disk images to microSD cards, so I can test booting them in single board computers (think: Raspberry Pi). How fast I can sequentially write out a few GiB is all I really care about, as the test equipment cannot read uSD card very fast.At first I was underwhelmed with 85 MiB read and 78 MiB write speeds, but then I realised that my uSD card reader was _not_ a UHS-II reader which uses the extra pins on the card. After buying a couple from Amazon I am now delighted to get 230-300 MB/s read speeds, and 219-280 MB/s write speeds.Of the three UHS-II card readers I have, my JJC Metal SD Card reader [1] is by far my favourite and the only one which achieved 300 MB/s read and 280 MB/s write on this Delkin Devices uSD card.I have found that some of my single board computers are unable to read this card at all (Rock 4C+, and Rock 4SE), while others works fine, albeit without UHS-II which they lack.[1]: "JJC Metal SD Card Reader, USB 3.1 Micro USB 2.0 Type-C 3.1 Easy Card Reader USB OTG Adapter for UHS-II UHS-I SD SDHC SDXC Micro SD Micro SDHC Micro SDXC Memory Cards (Gray)". Very good if slightly expensive
For use In GoPro reduced overheating worked well. Possibly the fastest micro sd card available so not cheap. Currently the highest capacity 64gb available
