Great great socks!
I’ve used Darn Tough for years. Best socks I’ve owned. Super durable, comfortable, and do a great job keeping odor to a minimum while regulating body temp of my feet. I wear em all year long. Their customer service is also terrific. Highly recommend.

Darned Expensive, but worth the price of admission.
After a year, these seem like great socks. They are made of 54% nylon and 43% merino wool. I’ve worn them in some pretty demanding conditions; particularly hiking (in hiking boots, not running shoes) on steep trails, in rain, and in hot humid weather. They’re thin, and provide just the right amount of cushion and breathability in hot weather. For cooler weather I prefer the DT mid weights. Not much else to say. DT socks are pretty darned expensive, but they’re holding up better than my Lorpen socks have under similar conditions. I’ve found my new brand of socks.

Absolutely the Best Hiking Socks
I'm not going to lie, when I bought these, I bought three for a thru hike and thought to myself, "Do I really need to be spending this much money PER sock???" The answer is a resounding yes, they are worth every penny. These socks are durable enough that I've noticed no wear and tear, and they've been with me through many backpacking and hiking trips (probably close to 200 miles at this point?). You can definitely wear these socks for multiple days in a row and not feel as if they are gross or smelly (thank you merino wool). These are lighter than other hiking socks, so they dry a lot faster than I'm used to compared to a higher wool percentage. You might find as a result that they aren't as thick or plush as you're used to in other hiking socks, but they are cushioned enough for my feet for sure. I actively advocate for these socks in my real life, so I'm bringing that to you guys too.

Best wool socks I've owned.
Love the socks. They are very comfortable, even for someone with sensitive skin. Stay warm and are a nice thickness.

Great socks
These are awesome. My second pair of the same style, these have held up well, they don’t stretch out, they don’t get smelly easily, and the warranty is great. These have become my go-to hiking /backpacking socks.

Wish Amazon would stop sending me returned or used merchandise and passing it off as new
Socks appear to be fine and maybe only tried on by the previous purchaser but the packaging was torn and there was a 10" human hair included at no extra cost. Just feels like for $25 I should've been sent some new socks as shown in the listing. Sizing doesn't match up well to their chart, I wear size 10 running shoes and the Large seems a bit tight.

Love, darn tough socks
Incredibly comfortable, very durable, good moisture management, easily washes, and dry on any setting you want. Just be aware they’re designed to fit rather tight not quite compression socks, but close. If you don’t like them so tight order a size up from the chart. I do. Very durable and guaranteed if they get a hole, you can return them to the manufacturer and get a credit for a new pair. I really like them for warmth in the winter without being too bulky. They prevent you from needing liner socks, and they help prevent blisters.

Socks that make me smile
These are simply the best socks I've ever owned. Some of that is subjective to be sure - but I find the thickness to work for boots, casual shoes, and just about any other shoe that's not a dress shoe. It's the one pair in my drawer that I look forward to wearing. Sometimes in life, it's the little things that can make a day start off on the right foot, and having your favorite sock to put on in the morning still makes me smile.
