Super
Works great with my LP cow bell, and I prefer the Meinl because of the mount for the bass drum. It's sturdy and smooth at the same time. Also, the rod on which the cow bell rests fits very snug. Amazing

Won't tear up your hoop!
I tore up my bass drum hoop with a cowbell attachment that didn't have padding. I wish I would've had this one all this time!! I really like this cowbell attachment. It has a padding to protect the hoop. Now I can go back to having a cowbell on my Bass Drum without tearing up my hoop. The wing nut used to tighten the hoop feels pretty sturdy, just try not to overtighten as you may strip it. I haven't run into that because I don't overtighten. I tighten it just enough to where it is sturdy and won't move or slide when I hit the cowbell. Also, one of the other advantages of the padding is it acts as a shock absorber so the cowbell "gives" a bit and promotes vibration.

Cowbell doesn't stay up!
I purchased a meinl cowbell to go along with this guy.It gets three stars because it fits very nicely on the rim of your bass drum (or any other fairly thin, flat surface with an edge that you wish to fix it to) and stays tight for as long as you want to leave it on there.I have docked the review two stars because my cowbell, no matter how much muscle I put into tightening it, almost always falls down after playing. Sometimes, a single forte hit with the shoulder of the stick on the edge of the cowbell can knock it right off. Otherwise, maybe half a minute of riding on the cowbell and its scooted its way all the way down the holder so it is resting on my bass drum rim. Does not sound good. Now this could be the fault of the tightening mechanism that is built into the cowbell (not the holder), but as far as I know, its pretty much the same mechanism on most cowbells. If I really REALLY tighten it, and don't beat the crap out of the cowbell, it will stay. Definitely not for heavy metal, cowbell riders.

Exactly what I wanted....
Black drums with black heads, black cow bell on a black Meinl holder, bad to the bone! Anything from Meinl will be quality and the cow bell holder did not disappoint. It was EXACTLY what I wanted and the price was right. Many thanks also to Amazon for handling the transaction, nice job as always!

Great quality overall
Bought for my teenage son who's learning the drums. The stand is sturdy, easy to attach and will no doubt last a good few years. Considered buying cheaper, but glad we went with this one.

Good idea, but cheap rubber glue!
I bought this for my cowbell. Within 3-4 weeks the rubber showed issues, finally came off altogether. I would recommend getting a bass drum hoop protector and losing the initial rubber. It's useless, still doesn’t stay on. Downgraded to 1 star!.

Using on a microphone stand
Although designed to fit onto drum bass, this works really well attached to my music stand using the ukulele clamp. Works brilliantly, lovely bit if kit

Works great! Wish the stalk was longer (20 in bass)
Works great! I just wish the stalk was longer so the cowbell could sit a few inches higher.Maybe it's just me, but on my 20 inch bass drum, when I have this installed with a cow bell, I occasionally hit my knee in the cowbell when playing fast on the bass.Do not have this issue on the 22 in bass. But really good quality product, easy to install, fit great, good padding.

Good peice of kit
I bought this product to put a ribbon crasher on to. It was great for it. Easy to put on and no damage to the hoop and the clamp has soft pads on. I've resorted to using an arm I stead for moving it around but this is still a good peice of kit. Colour went with my matte black hardware for armoury kit
