Perfect for Exploring the Moon Up Close!
I got the Celestron Signature Series Moon telescope, and it’s been an incredible addition for our stargazing nights! The design is really cool, with a printed moon surface that gives it a unique look. My family and I love how it actually points out major features on the Moon, making it a fun learning experience. The setup is simple and compact, which makes it easy to bring outside without fussing over complicated adjustments. The tabletop style is a nice touch; we just set it on a stable surface, and we’re good to go. It comes with two eyepieces, so we can switch between 15x and 75x magnification, depending on how close we want to get.The view is surprisingly clear for such a compact telescope. We’ve been able to spot craters and mountain ranges on the Moon in detail, which feels amazing, especially for beginners like us. It’s also great for introducing kids to astronomy without overwhelming them.If you’re looking for an affordable, user-friendly telescope to explore the Moon with impressive detail, this one’s a fantastic choice!

Great value and allows you to see a lot more detail than I expected!
Really good value for money telescope. I bought this for my 13 year old son and we have enjoyed using it a lot. Suprisingly good view of the moon, had no idea it would be that powerful. For newcomers this is a great starter telescope I think.

Portable deep sky telescope
Late last night I could see Pegasus and Cassiopeia in the eastern sky, so I knew M31 would be in a good position to view. Too tired after work to set up one of my larger telescopes, I took my Celestron Firstscope 76 outside, put in on a folding table I bought for that purpose and within a few minutes had the pale glow of the core of the Andromeda galaxy in my eyepiece. This is where the Firstscope 76 shows it's strength; wide field views, easy and quick setup and minimal cool down time. Simple and very stable Dobsonian mount makes it a joy to use for Messier objects and asterisms. Highly portable to take to dark sky sights, I never cease to be surprised at how much this small reflector can show. It's definitely not a planetary scope, and I'd recommend purchasing some decent eyepieces and a finder scope, but for lunar full disc and solar (must be equipped with a proper Solar filter!!!), and brighter deep sky objects, it's a good "grab and go" scope.

It’s ok for the price
Handy size and light weight. You have to be patience to find stars and the moon but you’ll get there, good for star gazer beginners.

I saw the light . . .
Bought this on a whim just to play with. Got this model as it included a finder (hmmmm) which is not the easiest to align. The rest of the scope was very easy to set up and use straight out of the box. The moon is the most obvious target for this little scope and it won't disappoint. Google the Internet for a moon map and impress yourself by just how much you can find. You can spend many happy hours just doing that alone. Finding other object like Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus, can be done but will be a challenge so whet your appetite on the moon and enjoy!

Useless
Even trying to find the moon is extremely difficult.

Not as good as I hoped
Not as good as expected, difficult to line up. Binoculars work better.
